HiFi is dead

Life in america in the 90s was top-tier...yet the GDP was a fraction of what it is today. GDP means nothing.

It does economically in many ways. Of course economy and culture are two separate things.

they refused diversity and they're now poor

There are prices to pay if you want to keep your country homogenous

okay boomer. lmfao are u like 50

okay boomer

2020 called zoomie

Not enough Indian CEOs.

The quality of life in Japan from 2000 to 2025 has not changed significantly, whereas American's quality of life has been significantly degraded in that 25 year period. It turns out not selling out your people for extra pennies is not maximizing your growth potential.

Low rates.

sexless virgin neets

When the entirety of your economic growth is just copying what your daddy country is doing it has to end eventually

america happened. they were about to surpass american tech companies and the US government decided to fuck them in the ass. they didn't recover from that

now america is trying to do the same to china, but they learned from japans mistake.

GDP only measures velocity of money. It has nothing to do with living standards.
Russia, China and Brazil are also top GDP countries and absolute shitholes.

They lost the war and got told by bankers what to do.

They took advise from Paul Krugman

cucked by jewSA

They discovered the 90s in the 70s and stuck there ever since and forever.

This post bears repeating.

Russia, China and Brazil are also top GDP countries

Not measured per capita. Of course you will have a big GDP if your country is big but that doesn't mean anything. How much money a country makes per person is a relevant metric. High GDP per capita alone doesn't ensure the well-being of people but there is a clear correlation between it and higher living standards.

it's a colony of the israeli-American empire.
they don't invest in Japan, just take tribute.

so israel will soon collapse.

so israel will become more poor over time.

your empire is teetering.

what happened to America

20 trillion in "hypothetical finance product" which is actually nothing

aging population, can't keep up

the 90's was pretty sweet, what I remember of the 80's even sweeter.

It's what's gonna happen to us

This is proof that infinite growth and higher numbers has no bearing on quality of life

Yeah but Japan isn’t the leading world hegemon. America’s economy has to keep growing because we don’t want to fall behind the BRICS
