Like I can imagine a couple things I did that would be "fireable." I'm the sort of person to ask forgiveness not permission if that makes sense.
However, I never, to my knowledge, broke any rules or disobeyed any guidance. Nobody ever complained or mentioned anything I did, so I wouldn't know what if anything they wanted to fire me for. Which is why I ask why I get laid off. I think likely nothing they can fire me for. Which is why HR got so defensive when I asked why. They had no reason and felt bad and were trying to get me to admit to something I had done that was BAD(tm) so they could feel better.
