Life is easier when you realize likewise have that you were never going to make it. Even with opportunities I was never going to make the right decisions. It's just not who I am. I'm not a winner.

it's enough for me, yet I want more just cause i want to be in the cool kid's club. isn't that messed up?
I keep making the wrong decisions too and have recently lost all my friends as well. I don't want to go back to work either. I never want to talk to another human irl besides my dad. It's completely over for me

610k NW, 340k of which is in crypto.
I'd need 900k to cover my current cost of living at 4%.
Getting tired of working, they forced us back into the office 3 days a week, and I don't know how long I can take it.
If I can just hold out 3 more years I should be able to quit my job and work on my own thing.
Even if I do hit my number, I don't know if I'll have the courage to pull the trigger. If we have some really bad markets then I'd need to find some way to bring in income and finding another job would be certainly lower paying and shittier, I'm bad at interviewing, I'm mediocre at my career, I'm autistic and not much of a people person.
This would have to last me 50 years, which means little chance of growing my standard of living, which would mean staying in a shitty apartment. Realistically the safest financial decision is to keep working until I have enough for a paid off home, and to cover my cost of living, but that would mean 8-10 more years, and by then I'm well into my 40s.
I'm tired bros, I was feeling so shitty that I took a week vacation last month and enjoyed playing the oblivion remaster and relaxing and being productive in my own projects, but it felt so much worse to go back to working.
Feels like the walls are closing in on me and I need to get out while I can, but I don't have enough.
How the fuck do I even go about making money through investments if I have no money to invest with?

You start saving. Everyone has to start somewhere. If you don't start, your children will need to start from 0.
Using historical stock returns of 10.5%, it takes 15 years of investing X dollars per year to get a portfolio that you can safely withdraw 3% per year for X dollars per year into perpetuity.
For example, investing $10k/y at 10.5% returns will get you $330k after 15 years. From then on you can "safely" withdraw $10k per year without touching the principal and allowing the principal to match with inflation.
Obviously these are all estimates where 10.5% can fluctuate, inflation can fluctuate, and the 3% withdrawal threshold is a lower bound (meaning others have argued 4% is the safe threshold, 3% is extra safe). If you invest in something other than standard S&P, you can see higher long term returns as long as you can stomach short term draw downs and not panic. Even doing something like15% in BTC and the other 85% in S&P would safely boost you above that 10.5% long term.

Cars are not an asset by any measure.

Also, I have this too. She's chubby though
Both home equity and cars are by definition assets. But he is sort of correct, in that home equity should be clearly stated independently because of its inherent illiquidity (at least with respect to one's primary residence), and cars need to be heavily discounted based on their steep reduction in value on the resale market, coupled with the difficulty inherent to selling most models.
It's probably best to consider three buckets of NW - NW (financial assets only), NW (financial + home equity), and NW (total).

Reduces your cortisol levels. I was extremely burnt out from work back in March, plus life stresses was killing my motivation and making me hate life. Decided to try ashwagandha just because and within a few days started feeling a difference. More mellow, stopped giving as much of a fuck, stress went down so my sleep improved. All that helped me get back on track and increase my motivation to work (work still sucks, but I need to make money, so just gotta do it). I cycle it though to prevent anhedonia which is a common side effect it seems. I just take it during the week and skip it on the weekends.
