I'm 38 and I've had the same issue. Your back is not getting exercise and/or you are turning every which way in your sleep and the muscles are getting tweaked and/or you need a new bed. The least probable cause is some medical issue. Start by trying to exercise, changing your bedding and not making it so your body is restless during sleep.

OP I had a cyst on my arm that started off not that bad, then progressed to where I couldn’t raise my arm, then got badly infected to where it couldn’t even be touched. I don’t have insurance. Had I went to urgent care about two weeks earlier I’d have gone through way less pain. I had to pay $280 out of pocket but the relief from the pain was worth it.

They gave me some antibiotics, the pain lessened over the next week or so and then one day in the grocery store I felt an ooze down my rib cage and the fucking thing had burst under my shirt. I’ve never felt so relieved to feel pus trickle down my chest.

I’m 33 now OP so I know what it’s like for your body to slow down a little. I thought I could tough it out but it only got worse. Go to the doctor man you only get one body and you should take care of it.

For one, you should just go if you believe it's serious. Obviously you'll get billed, but you could:

1. Ask them t put you on a payment plan. Even if you pay off $10 a month they will NOT bother you further about it. Honestly, If the bill is small enough and you don't pay after a certain amount of time they will literally just write it off. No joke.

2. Ask about charity pay. There are programs in place meant to help pay the bills of those who only make a certain amount per year. If you qualify they'll let you know. Maybe do some research is well, they definitely exist.

The point is, it's not the end of the world if you end up stuck with a big medical bill. I can assure you there's probably millions of dollars that have yet to be paid from medical patients. If you're that worried about it, offer yourself some ease and go get your back checked.

This. Mental health and good rest would fix most people’s problems. I got admitted for what I thought was a heart issue, spent a couple nights in the hospital for observation, and got discharged with no issues found. I left rested and feeling great. On the drive home, I started thinking about all the shit I have to go back to and started stressing again.

According to the doctor who saw me, he said this was a common issue. So many people go to the hospital, stay 1 or 2 nights, and leave feeling better.

The healthcare system is jewed for sure but part of the problem is that medical staff are overworked. The healthcare system is just a giant assembly line of getting people in and out quickly. This in turn forces medical facilities to hire even the dumbest of fucks to fill in positions. That’s just the tip of the iceberg. There are just so many issues to speak about on this subject.

pain gets worse and worse

so bad I can't even walk out the door

call 911 for an ambulance to take me to the ER

can't find a vein in my arm for painkillers so they just make me snort fentanyl intranasally

pain is still excruciating as I'm wheeled in

spend the first five minutes in triage with labored breaths telling the nurse my insurance information (because of course that's the first thing these like puppets asked for)

nurse takes all my vitals while I'm still in pain and says the doctor will be with me shortly

30 minutes later I warn the nurse that I will need more painkillers because I can feel it starting to wear off
