Chainlink (Ticker: LINK)

Good news

Price dumps

Can someone explain this meme? JPMorgan's private chain is using Chainlink to connect to public ones? Link dumps. Tron bends the knee? Link dumps.

explain

here you go, Satan

Checked.
I'm going to explain it to you, it's going to be long.

World 1:
People grow and sell apples. Sometimes, the general public has increased demand for apples. Maybe someone made an apple pie on a popular baking show, now everyone wants to make apple pies. Maybe a news article just came out saying apples are really good for your teeth.
Whatever happens, suddenly more people want apples, but the growers can only grow a certain amount, so to accommodate the increase in demand, the apple sellers sell them at higher prices. Simple markets, dictated by supply and demand.

We do not live in this world.

World 2:
The AppleLord has thousands of tons of apples. Frozen, refrigerated, stored. And has hundreds of millions of dollars in his account. The AppleLord doesn't care about apples, or even really about money, except insofar as it is a vector for power.
The same scenario occurs, where apples become on trend. He notices a bunch of small local guys setting up apple stores to cater to the demand, they even form a co-op so that they can get cheaper wholesale prices. The Apple co-op now spends $0.10 on an apple that they hope to sell for $0.20.
The AppleLord just goes into his reserves and floods the markets with so many apples that, even with the increased demand, they are selling for $0.05. The ApplyLord is even making a loss on this, and they cost him $0.06. But he has massive reserves of both apples and money, he can do this for years. Within a month or two, the co-op closes down.
The AppleLord doesn't care about the short term loss, as long as it preserves his position of power. Now that the co-op is closed down, he can put apples back up to $0.25, and make back anything he spent on maintaining complete market dominance.

This is the world we live in. It's why price and demand have only a very limited correlation.

I get it, Ripple is the AppleLord and keeps flooding the market with apples, making apples... really valuable?
Your analogy sucks

I get it

absolutely doesn't get it to the extent he probably didn't even read a couple of hundred words.

You said AppleLord floods the market with applies, but that only made BTC, ETH, XRP, ... more valuable.

each time inflation rate drops, price rises

way to prove his point moron KEK

Interesting.

I hate the AppleLord. I hate the AppleLord.

Each time inflation rate drops, the pump rate drops as well.
You absolute smoothbrain.

each time the inflation rate drops, BTC pumps
the percentage of the pump has nothing to do with it
you're a pendatic semantics arguing midwit whom can't grasp the simplest concept of supply and demand

Are you honestly too much of a retard to invert the analogy?
The AppleLord has an essentially infinite stockpile of both apples and money.
He is just as able to drive the price of an asset up by buying all of the apples on the market with his cash reserves, if it's strategically beneficial for him to have a higher price. But that's not always the case.
The core point is that market makers like the AppleLord can dictate price up or down regardless of market sentiment, and if it's more profitable, the price of an asset can move completely against a supply/demand mechanic.

The harder Bitcoin inflated, the harder it pumped.
fuck you're stupid.

And it's not even true that Bitcoin pumped whenever inflation rate dropped.
Take the 2016 halving; Bitcoin had already been pumping for a year when that happened and would continue to pump for over a year after.

The AppleLord has an essentially infinite stockpile of both apples and money.

You're definitely no longer talking about Sergey lol

Checked and take your fucking meds.

I'm talking about market makers, not teams.

it's much simpler
link price goes up with use/adoption so of course it goes down

checked and kekked. they'll never let it run. ever. its just too important.

The harder Bitcoin inflated

can't you read a chart? It's the exact opposite
is this bait?

There's no way you're actually this stupid, this has to be bait.

2010

inflation: 200% annually (so circulating supply triples annually)

pump: +300,000%

2021

inflation: 2% annually

pump: +2,000%

Which is bigger:
1) 200 or 2?
2) 300,000 or 2,000?
You should be able to solve this.

kek baggies

45434423.png - 992x898, 1.56M

Except it never pumped in 2010 you actual moron, every major pump occurred after the halving

it never pumped in 2010

half the pump from $0.01 to $29 happened in 2010

every major pump occurred after the halving

Bitcoin pumped from $0.01 to $29 before the first halving

Do you need to have a lie down or something?

june 2011 is in 2010

KEK

Pic says 7/17/10.
The 10 stands for 2010.

Get some new bifocals, gramps.

anon, this ISN'T the hill you want to die on
the actual pump you're referring to happened in 2011, NOT in 2010
a comprehensive all time chart does exist btw, you don't have to assume things by looking on an ultra zoomed out linear graph to understand the timeframes KEK

the actual pump you're referring to happened in 2011, NOT in 2010

You said "every major pump occurred after the halving".
The first halving was November 2012.
Pretty sure both 2010 and 2011 occurred before that.

oops

you got me!
thanks for conceding that no pump took place in 2010 though lol

also in your graph inflation goes down way before the actual halving, that's why I got confused
essentially you're grasping at straws in a desperate attempt to disregard supply and demand

A large part of the pump from $0.01 to $29 happened in 2010.

So there are three arguments that you've been BTFO on now:
1) the harder Bitcoin inflated, the harder it pumped
2) Bitcoin pumped a lot in 2010
3) major pumps happened before the first ever halving

I have a sneaking suspicion that you're just a very dim person.

for any other retards who can't read a chart

inflation goes down massively, price pumps to high heaven

inflation goes down a little, price pumps less

literally that simple

inflation is triple digits

Bitcoin pumps 300,000%

inflation is low single digits

Bitcoin pumps 2,000%

hmmmmmmm

linkger

inflation goes down massively in a short span, BTC pumps 500,000%

inflation goes down in a much slower pace, BTC pumps 10%

hmmmmmmmm you're genuinely retarded

A large part of the pump

no, it crashed and THEN it pumped in 2011

>inflation goes down massively

Still triple digits.

Bitcoin pumped hardest when inflation was highest.
The lower inflation went, the weaker it pumped.

ok you're just trolling aren't you. Nothing better to do?

KEK, no anon, BTC pumped a lot because inflation went down a lot
how can you be this retarded

BTC pumped a lot because inflation went down a lot

At the end of the 2010-2011 monsterpump, inflation was 100%.

The applelord is Sergey, and he wants to kill our daughters and rape our sons. He will laugh while doing it. Every time there should be a dump, he unloads millions from an obscured wallet onto the open market. He is the only entity with enough to make this happen. Even if you had all the money in the world, to make LINK dump, you first have to have LINK to dump. Prove me wrong.

News don't matter. Macroeconomics matter. People who bought or are interested in Chainlink already expect to see deals like this. To make a big difference Chainlink needs to have actual movement and usage of link.

Interesting how Link is the only crypto that has this requirement. Really makes you think, huh?

Interesting how Link is the only crypto that has this requirement. Really makes you think, huh?

PSA to all.... "mommy life isn't fair" is not a good thesis if you actually want to make money

THE Cuckolds of crypto

also another PSA - when you're in a dead altcoin cult, and they start comparing the coin to bitcoin, eth, etc., you know you're fucked

yeah man, you're coin out of the other 100M altcoins is gonna run like btc did in 2011, because its YOURS lmfao

pointing out a blatant double standard is not good

muh blatant double standard!11

that exists solely in baggies head
link baggies continuously compare themselves to the best performers, while conveniently ignoring that for every shitcoin mooning, there are thousands of shitcoins that do fucking nothing for years, with news or not
but no, LINK HAS to be like the other coins that pump!!11
you're retarded

that pesky fucking AppleLord

and at the start it was 1,000%, good job on proving his point

Chainlink just did a JPMorgan.
JPMorgan is the biggest single banking institution in the US.

If Chainlink doesn't get into the top 5 soon, the entire market looks bad, and new money will stay away.

If Bitcoin can pump like that with (AT MINIMUM) 100% inflation, then the inflation has virtually no systemic effect.
No asset in history has pumped like Bitcoin has in its first years.

Chainlink did what it has been doing for a decade, PoCs, announcements of announcements, and fireside chats
contrary to popular belief, not one of these entities has ever mentioned using the LINK token at any capacity
it CAN pump if speculators invest anticipating a HUGE REDUCTION of inflation, you absolute moron

it CAN pump if speculators invest anticipating a HUGE REDUCTION of inflation

kek that's good news for Link then, because even at this modest 7% inflation rate Sergey is about to run out in five years.

It took 8 years for Bitcoin inflation to be as low as 7%.

great, I can't wait until the market gets flooded with the entire 1 billion supply of a useless erc! that will surely help the price! I mean look at bitcoin's performance now that inflation is relatively stable compared to the early years of huge expansion!
the absolute state of moronic shills ladies and gents

Man, you're really upset after this JPMorgan thing aren't you?

giving up already I see

You wanna keep talking with linkies that bad?
Nothing else going on in your life?

p-pls go away

p-pls keep talking to me

update - chainlink has officially removed kemal from the website

remember when you idiots couldn't understand he was softening the blow when he was leaving when he said he'd still be advisor

that's like a chick telling you you can still be friends when she breaks up w you
but i take it dating isn't your strong suit

>pointing out a blatant double standard is not good

you're proving my point

you think the world will all of a sudden become "fair" if you argue it enough

you're incredibly naive, like a child who wonders into a movie

haha

this my point tho... even if the cult's argument is "right", it doesnt fucking matter
claiming something isn't fair is not an investment thesis

is it "fair" the the janitor makes 40k while the ceo makes 10M

is it "fair" that some guys are born 6'6" athletic and attractive

is it "fair" that chainlinkgod was born without a dick

surely you can see where i'm going...
