it gets more believable when I tell you the landlord was my mother. she moved out, I moved in and leased, she randomly decided to move back in a few months later, against my will and with nearly no notice, and despite the fact I had already paid rent for the month with a signed year lease.

extorted me monthly by threatening to throw the remainder of my stuff away and lock me out if I didn't pay her exorbitant credit card bills. it was a nightmare and I lost everything. I had spent about 5-7 years building that business to get that point and it was gonna be my biggest year yet by a landslide, I was fully invested so didn' have the funds to move (and the ensuing extortion kept it that way).

What happens when someone hacks into your shitty insecure system that you don't even understand the workings of? AI is horrible at managing multiple files and dependencies AKA any medium sized or bigger project. AI generated code is really only practical or useable as a basic boilerplate for an experienced developer.

In a sane world, maybe. Pretty sure 80% of the population is hopelessly retarded and must follow the system's rules and don't understand why you shouldn't. I'm sure if I ever looked at how some people manage their finances, I'd see some baffling shit. If I were making 150k, I'd immediately try to get some dirt cheap real estate anywhere just in case I get axed by my employer, ESPECIALLY if I were in tech, there were warning signs all over the place once the money printing cooled.
