Just focus on breaking that 3% barrier (or 5% considering taxes), make it the purpose of the year, once you have broken through that ceiling you're actually making money and every green you reap is a green you have over not investing at all. Well, unless you're a long term invester, but that would be too much of a smart move for a biz user (myself included, of course)
