There are some baseline values that influence what a person's ratios should be.
First is, you should have enough cash (or easily liquifiable stocks) to pay all your bills for several months.
Next is growth. That's the stock market ("playing the ponies" my sister calls it), or even ecoins (though I discourage that). This is how you use money to grow your wealth.
Lastly is PMs. This is a store of wealth. If you aren't able to put aside savings every paycheck, you won't have the wealth to put into PMs as a serious investment.
Ratios are governed by your situation. Your situation is not governed by ratios.
