I don't see regulations on farming products being dropped. Our regulations regarding food safety are much higher and are one of the few things people actually see as positive, I am not sure they'd be willing to sacrifice that.

This is why von der Leyen is offering this. The EU would want this kind of deal. Industrial goods is their strength. Services and agricultural goods are what the EU would want subjected to trade barriers.
