My family is broke, parents are in their late 60s and renting, sister is married with kids, but they have no hope of ever buying a house, they cant even save money for a deposit, my brother married a girl from a "well off" family, so my brother is doing okay purely based on the fact his wifes parents gifting them 6 figures worth of assets.

That said, my sister and my parents constantly stress me out, all they talk about is how financially fucked they are, and its all their fault for NEVER investing, and REFUSING to learn and they treat me like shit to blow off steam from their shitty financial decisions, and not only that they yell at me anytime I try to help them understand what theyre doing wrong and did wrong

At what point do I just leave the country, go to a place where I can withdraw crypto tax free, and just start my own life?

I tried explaining them what inflation is, how money is printed, how you need to have been investing as soon as possible, or you get left behind, and they just look at me like stuffed mullets and say its too complicated for them to understand

I love them but if I gave them all of my money it would likely be wasted within a year or 2, or it would be sat rotting away in the bank.

My dad got an inheritance of 400k back in 2016 and instead of moving to a cheaper area to buy a house and stop renting, they didnt want to move away from the area they live in, so they kept the money in the bank for the past 9 years, never invested it, and it's down to like $150k now, eaten away by both inflation and spending

I told them to buy a house in 2016 with that $400k and the homes I was showing them are valued at $1M+ now

Oh yeah and when I mentioned this to my parents recently they just lashed at me for bringing it up and they made a bunch of excuses as to why they didn't want to move to a different location to buy a house they could afford in 2016

A huge issue with retiring at ~30 with a frankly low stack like $1-1.5M is that you're engaging in the hubris of predicting like 3 decades of both your personal life, the market, the world.

If you're wrong in the worst ways, such as falling short at 55-65, you'd be facing a storm of:

* old

* no professional connections
