if you are so smart why aren't you rich?
If you are so smart why aren't you rich?
define 'rich'
I am rich. Why are you posting cope threads? Are you not rich?
checked
This is why I have a few of my best posts in Anon Babble printed, always at hand.
And now for the actual answer: smart doesn't equal rich because we don't live in a meritocratic society. That's just a meme from capitalism. Next question, bitch.
(I fucking love HR whores like you wouldn't believe, frogposters)
I am rich.
Because I am a retard, but despite being retarded I am still more intelligent that 99% of humanity because I am redpilled on the Jews and immune to propaganda and can easily dismantle every psy-op and agenda as it is happening with 100% accuracy. I just can’t predict markets…..
I actually know I'm kind of dumb, but I like to make risks and have retardedly hard to reach goals that make me keep going. I think that's why I have been so successful despite falling for the most obvious and stupid scams ever. Like a cat following a laser dot for ever.
Why do you think literal retards become rich, hmm? I'll give you a hint:
luck
Go ahead and seethe and lash out at me you gaslighting psychopathic narcissistic social media confluencers. Go ahead.
The guy that said that we're no living in a meritocratic system is based, and why are you not rich, anon? Can't you see that it's as easy as investing in a memecoin, call it talk or whatever you want to call it and wait for it to pump until you get rich, easy!(Sarcasm)

THIS...
Is $1 million rich?
is $5 million rich?
I'm actually quite stupid.
LMAO $5 million (excluding your house in that) is like lowest richistan. That's like $150k a year after taxes, indefinitely. Which is definitely pretty comfy by yourself. You definitely have the capacity to do normal middle and upper middle class things with regularity without working. You can eat out kind of wherever, you can get a nice ordinary luxury car, you can fly coach anywhere and spend a few weeks in a high COLA 4/5 star hotel, occasionally business.
But there's real limits to that level of wealth. You're not hiring staff (or it's some janky jeet VA). You're not buying exotic cars every year or two. You're never flying private with your own money. You're not making some insane donations to a college or whatever. Of the things I've said you can do you can't really do all of at once.
Reading a lot of books about poetry and math doesn't actually make you good at business

Lol, seek help.
Trve.
if you are so smart why aren't you rich?
I did not study money. Now I do. Fools and money are soon parted, so why not find where that money goes?
I got cynical and found that people cannot be changed, and I find that detestable at times. I resolved to take my cut from the people who willingly make their lives worse or made the lives of others worse through negligence or inaction, so that I can make my life better.
So far it's only 58% growth over a few years. It'll get better the more I pay attention to it. I still find that I'm too bearish when I should be at least crabbish.
The only truthful answer is that I'm not smart, or I at least squandered any opportunity that I had.
didn't go to college because didn't know what I wanted to do for a career and didn't want to end up in debt over something I would potentially hate
tried learning to code and despised it
worked a string of poorly paying jobs in my late teens and early twenties, now I'm a tradecel electrician
Looking back I wish I had tried harder in school and just bitten the bullet re. university, literally any subject would have been fine. I'm disappointed that I didn't go the corporate route and become some sort of professional, but what's done is done.
reading a lot of books about poetry and math also doesn't make you smart
lazy
Too based for these chuds.
Being rich is about being born into money from warrior/merchant tribes or being lucky and gifted.
High academic achievement is pretty much 1:1 correlated with high IQ, the highest IQ major in college is philosophy which is pretty much useless if you're trying to apply to specific jobs. No amount of cope will change the fact unless you have significant financial backing and BUSINESS education, you are not going to magically be good at business just because you have a highly logical and analytical mind able to solve proofs like a champ. QED.
Turns out I'm fucking stupid
what are the tons of businesses by these studied intellectuals that went bankrupt despite the backings
Looks like it was all just luck and having satanic connections.
im not smart but I am rich.
I didn't trust myself to be right. I had 0 motivation to make $ to invest. Procrastinating in general.
The original article from MIT Press says it's not just luck, but how people choose to respond to that luck (bad events, and good events or opportunities), is what makes the rich or not.
From your post it really sounds like you're passionate but just haven't found the thing that you like doing and are good at. Keep searching. It's never too late. A lot of geniuses have multiple careers.
Ethics and strong moral boundaries. I hate taking advantage of people so I can’t hire workers and I’m incapable of making unethical or nepotistic business connections. I have also refused to make my own crypto. Basically I have OCD levels of a moral superiority that it’s difficult for me to even function. I really do treat others with too much respect. God bless all anons!
Because other people arent smart, they bought XRP instead of LINK so now i have to wait until they insitutional adoption goes live
I would refine it to "If you are visiting this board and are not rich then you are not smart." Lots of smart people are just not interested in investing.
Are you smart? Don't think so cos your wealth only depends on others. Where were you when chads were making over 10x gains recently from A47 peaking to ATH?
Because I live in the UK and my marginal tax rate is 56%
Not everyone can get rich with pump and dumps
But I'm going to be so rich on Monday when this dead cat bounce runs out of steam.
tfw not rich
tfw also not smart
4%
What if I've made 20%+ returns every year(usually more like 60%) for the past ten years?
let me guess, crapto?
some crypto, some stocks. Got in on NVDA at $30 and PLTR at $12
Is $1 million rich?
