The market price is suppressed to fuck compared to gold, which just points to the fact the banking clans don't want the people using it as currency over their paper. Gold is by far the better metal to put your wealth into, but silver has the potential to moon if the banking clans lose control of the market price due to outside markets, such as India and China.

When it comes to selling, the benefits will depend where you are located in the world, plus the type of production. I know I will never buy silver unless they are coins and have security features on them, like the modern Britannia. Stuff like that is worth taking into account when you want to sell, otherwise you will get less returns having to sell at a precious metals shop for under spot price.
