Why is the market recovering?

Trade relations between the US and China aren't getting any better

at the moment there are more people huffing hopium than doomium so price goes up
who knows what mr bigly will say next but that is the story for now. i do enjoy how the chinese bossman has refused his pleas for a phone call and instead gone home for the weekend, one of the chaddiest moves of all time

The usual pump & dump before the news.

china is not relevant

Hopium that orange man will cuck by monday. If he doesn’t back down by then or reach any sweet deals its going to crash hard again. Time is running out

Friday pump setting up for Monday rugpull
You should know this by now

Recovering? Ethereum is dumping

pump today and dump tomorrow for the weekend

Because institutions and insiders are accumulating shares before Trump announces the call with China. Then they'll ride the pump and sell to FOMO retail investors.

He means an actual meaningful market like the stock market. No one is going to buy you bags.

why do you think 1 day of short term trading matters even the slightest bit?

the average migger

2020 flashbacks reading that

it's all theater.

watch for any updates on the EU China free trade, if it gets approved china will be able to dump US treasuries for Euro bonds, without increasing the price of the CNY (the only reason they aren't dumping right now) they will pump the euro to make it easier to export to.

It was overpriced in.

this.
always the same. booooring.

Is that Clara Fernandez?

i think people are realizing the US has a lot more cards than libtards give them credit for. China's does have cards. but its a house of cards. does tha tmake sense

this

Yeah.

Who's economy will break first, the one that imports cheap consumer products, or the one that's entirely reliant on exporting those cheap consumer products? China put themselves in this position to get rugged. They literally can't win, at best they can negotiate for better terms and hope the US is merciful.

The usa has so many cards it's a huge pile and everywhere, China has the same height of cards but it's only a few and stacked on top of each other. Also you fuck cards.

i wish i was that pole

It's only 14.7% of China's trade.

All part of the game my friend. All part of the game. Know when to buy back in.

america only imports cheap plastic shit from china

Why do retards keep saying this? It's not true.

and old asian massage prostitutes

And 25% of electronics.

And raw materials. Good luck rebuilding manufacturing without materials.

Because the US can go longer without buying cheap Chinese shit longer than China can go without the US buying shit from them. China also imports a significant portion of their food from the US. There's no scenario where China comes out on top and everyone knows it but them

Oh no, how will China survive without 2% lower GDP! Do you retards not understand that China has been moving away from the USA since Trump's first term.

cheap garbage is not the only thing that america imports from china

So it's not a big deal. They can pay the tariffs and/or do without the US as a trade partner. The European Union with their disposable income and strong currency can pick up the slack.

eu is primarily an export economy as well they are competitors

They can pay the tariffs

retard

Do I have to show you a chart of the trade disparity between the two?

When america puts a tariff on a country, who in pays the tariff? The importer or the exporting country?

You can't be this stupid. The USA is paying the tariffs they put on imports.

China, and its people, can be poorer for longer than americans can. This is the true leverage.

Depends on the contract they negotiate and the elasticity of the demand.

JP has Trump's back with the money printer.

No, retard. A tariff is an import tax. When somebody import something they pay the import tax.

Imagine if that pole was your dick
China can buy their stuff from Europe and America can go fuck itself
Enjoy your 30.000 dollar iPhones

Bait.

Buy Move instead of asking strange questions

it's just bait, nobody could be that stupid

No, americans really are that dumb.

oh its guys like you that think these posts are real

It really is amazing how MIGA retards like you keep spewing the "cheap crappy Chinese imports" line over and over and over again.
Chinese companies like TCL, Hisense, Anker, Lenovo, DJI etc have products that are not only bought by millions of Americans, they are also highly regarded even up against Japanese, Korean and even American brands (slim as those are)
Hell companies like Xiaomi, Oppo/ BBK and Huawei don't officially sell their phones here in the US yet for the past 6 or so years consumers and even those who cover tech products have realized that Apple, a US company, has fallen way behind because they are no longer a good value compared to the Chinese ones.
A few weeks ago my parents bought a doorbell made in China from Alphabet soup Chinese company #1923 from Amazon for $8.
Today the bought an exterior screen door and door handles. The door handles are from an American company (Andersen) but Made in China and cost $75 fucking dollars.
Americans, not China, have been the ones screwing each other over for decades.

lol you retards have been coping about an imminent stock market crash for the past week, and then it shifted to 'muh treasury yields' when that didn't happen, and now it's back to BLACK MONDAY posting again

what's the cope for when Monday is plus or minus one percent again

americans are just pretending to be retarded bro

sure jan

i-it's fake

every single post and video is fake if it makes me look stupid

Retarded shitskin. Do you understand that a price increase (caused by import taxes or otherwise) will cause demand to decrease? Some or even most of the tariff will be paid by the end consumer, but the manufacturer may have to lower the pre-tariff price to stay competitive depending on "THE ELASTICITY OF DEMAND". The immediate jump to think "yay gotcha! tiktok said it's an import tax so i win!" means you don't even understand basic economics, or even simple logic.

If an importer says "due to recent changes in the environment and the expected price the consumer is willing to pay, I'm only willing to offer you 95% of what I offered in the past". It's up to contract negotiations, like I said.

The 10% tariffs aren't going to decrease demand, they're just going to come out of your pocket. As for China, it's effectively an embargo. There's going to be a massive shortage and price hike.

If the demand is perfectly inelastic (which is the case for some products), then a 10% tariff will be entirely borne by the end consumer. If it's not, the manufacturer may pay some of it based on negotiations. Obviously, they don't pay directly at the port, but they might pay partially and indirectly by a lowered price through negotiations.

Get real. Demand isn't going to go down for a $50 product because it became $55. Those 5 bucks are coming straight from the taxpayer's pocket. Congratulations on your new regressive tax.

demand of elastic goods isn't affected by price

That doesn't really matter, since if you make the exporting country pay the tariff, they'll just increase their prices so that they still get the same amount of money.

they'll just increase their prices so that they still get the same amount of money.

They should just double the price right now so they get double as much money.

You're still paying for it. Cope and seethe.
