The lottery miner family grows!

Whats the idea behind having multiple? If you want to actually significantly increase your chances, a real miner would be more effective

hes a jeet wiring a wallet onto a cpu fan and asking 5k each.

Aleph: it's not a wallet, it's a full node
Beth: the boards cost like $5 each if you DIY
Gimel: the code is open source
Dalet: at least this anon is DOING SOMETHING besides whining about politics, we should encourage this
Doing things is the best.

In June 2013 butterfly labs released their asic 60 gh/s miner. I promptly jumped the wait list and purchased one on eBay for $7000, at the time more than my car. I mined on it for a month, discovered one 25 BTC block (as part of a pool, it came out about even). Difficulty rates were rising quickly though and I looked to resell my unit, which someone paid 45 BTC for, more than I calculated the unit would ever mine given the pace of hash rate increases in the wake of this explosion. From there I continued to accumulate and hodl. And here I am today.

If i swap to bitcoin cash pools I have a chance to of 1 in 325 per month to mine some BTCcash

Sometimes real stuff is posted.

Post invalidated.

here ill let you know a secret.
The bitaxe supra701 will use 25 watts
its hashrate is 4 to 5 TH

This isnt even about bitaxes at this point
They are scaling miners down to use next to no energy and increasing the hashrates exponentially

a bitaxe in 5 to 10 years will probably be just as tiny and work better than a giant antminer.
This is progress

These are my odds for bitcoin cash when my suprahex bitaxe gets here with my other miners

I know some of you niggers got some lottery miners
admit it

I'm thinking about getting some solar lights from the dollar store, wiring a lottery miner inside, then staking them outside a McDonald's (free power, free wifi, free crypto maybe)
I could have a stealth miner at every McDonald's in the country!

Hello fren

Anon, NO!

I hope you get shot in the head

What you are even doing here?

You owe me 1btc
We got drunk together one night and you made a blood pact with me but I think you did a bit too much cocaine because you blacked out and forgot about it till now.

I have 4x that and I'm here too.
Not much to do man.

Thanks for posting this. This is what biz is about. This could have been any of us. You are still one of us, just a dude with digits on a screen.

Mining monero via p2pool on my CPU as satoshi intended.

You know that's a larp, right? Just look at the graph.

You will be surprised how lonely it is at the top

Try geomancing and dowsing. It's wild, it's free and it's outside.

geomancing and dowsing

sounds unironically interesting anon. thanks.
I bought a plane and gonna do my checkride soon. I am not without stuff to do. But no reason to abandon Anon Babble.

you are welcome. "Grifflängentechnik" is the real thing at dowsing.
Have a good time.

You would literally make more money overtime just using rainbowminer to autoswitch profitable algos

based

It's a poorfag equation really centered around paying electrical bills.
The lottery ticket miner might cost you $2/mo in electricity to run 24/7 while a standard ASIC miner would cost you about $100/mo to run 24/7 (if not more depending on region).
While these very cheap and overpriced lottery ticket miners carry a less than 1 in a 10 million chance of it ever mining a full block in your whole lifetime, it still gives retards who dont understand probabilities the hope that one day they'll hit a jackpot.
Anyone who fully understands BTC mining AND basic probabilities would never buy the Bitaxe scam "miners" lol

bullshit. kys larping faggot

I think they are well aware of the odds, thus calling it a lottery ticket, a two dollar a month lottery ticket for winning 80k, odds are better than in most state lotteries

If it was only the electricity, sure. But the hardware is expensive and overpriced. Would be interesting to know how much OP's 8 TH/s cost, probably somewhere around $1k.

Don’t fucking ruin it for me. It’s so cold right now. I just wanted to dream I was among the elite

It's only overpriced if you buy the premade BitAxe kits with TFT screens and such. You don't need any of that though. You can run the same software (NerdMiner) on a basic Wemos Lolin S3 board, which costs under $2 each on AliExpress.
Also you don't have to mine Bitcoin. There are other coins with better odds.

Sure someone might enjoy setting up that thing to mine but the hashrate will be abysmal. Getting any real hashrate needs an ASIC and Bitaxe uses the same BM13xx chips as Antminer ASICs... but with 10x markup. If you could buy OP's hardware for $20-$50 it would be closer to what it's worth.

The Noctua fan alone costs as much as the ASIC chip it's trying to keep cool lol
