Powell bros..... Not like this
TWITTER SCREENSHOT THREAD!!!! WOWZORS!!!!!!!!!
Already fired the FTC commissioner that has the same legal status as Powell. I'm getting my money out of the US.
Good. The fiction that congress can create agencies under the executive branch (which the constitution does not permit it to do) and that do not report to and are not under the control of the head of the executive branch (which is not permitted by the constitution) is blatantly unconstitutional and it is long past time that it be recognized as such.

It's literally over.
Twitter and Anon Babble have funnily enough switched places.
Twitter is where you can speak freely and Anon Babble is where you get slapped with a ban for saying anything the jannies disagree with personally
It might not be unconstitutional, but the truth is that it works so well that nobody wants it to change. You can look at Turkey for examples.
I literally got banned for "politics" even though my discussion clearly had to do with trading
Twitter is unironically more free speech than this plan, fuck tranny jannies
/thread
tha bitchcoin historian saaaarrrr
look at Turkey
No, I don't think I will.
If it's true, it's unironically over. Any fund will pull out of the stock market the moment that orange faggot lowers the rate to zero after firing powell because it will be obvious that dumbass doesn't understand shit about the economy and just wants to make quick money while ruining everything long-term in the process.
But Turkey is American culture, it's eaten every Thanksgiving.
That has nothing to do with niggers making twitter screencap thread
immediately sell if he gets it
Posting here is like the russian roulette.
Some people can post racist gore no problem, and other times you can get banned a month for posting about Brigitte Macron (which is kind of weird desu) or about hoeflation.
You remember when magacels used to parrot how the federal reserve was an evil private institution that hated Trump and America Kek. Very private institution you got there.
Why should the central bank be independent?
Nobody ever said that the fed was a private institution though.
Because otherwise you get Erdogan printing to oblivion during high inflation
I think it's cool when Donald Trump fires people. It's what he's famous for. It doesn't matter if it's justifiable.
Same reason as every small community, if you get reported while rule breaking you get policed.
If nobody cares about your rule break (ie it's inoffensive) then you get pass
-5% interest rates incoming
They seem to be managing.
Why should the central bank be independent?
look at turkey for example
what does dinner have to do with this
there's a blanket order across the site to discourage anons from discussing hypergamy or dating apps and their consequences in general
it works so well
Why do we have a central bank?
Isn't that redundant?
Doesn't having a central bank supersede one of the main jobs of congress so they can feign impotence in the face of actual incompetence?
But bro... stimmies!
PANICAN's eating good
This is not "managing" the lowest rate since Erdogan got into power was 6.3%
I actually think this would be a good idea. Let him lower rates and watch the stock markets soar. Fuck what comes after though.
And the 10 year treasury yield will go to 20%
I'm curious what is going to happen when someone finally gives Trump a flat no.
Probably the chimp out of all chimp outs.
They hated him because he spoke the truth
The relationship trump has with his sycophants is incredible
his fans vote for him in large part because of inflation
trump is super pro inflation, constantly pushed the fed to print and wishes the us could devalue its currency for stronger exports
Turkey's economy has a lot of debt denominated in foreign currencies, so it's very dependent on exports to acquire them to service its foreign loans.
let's just get rid of powell and turn the printers back on. Everybody is just grabbing what they can while they can before the music stops, we should do the same
I'm a brainlet, can anyone explain why a president doing this is bad?
based
Trump will send him to El Salvador
It's called X you chud
Stop deadnaming
Why should a president have the power to remove anyone he wants from any position
How could this backfire when there is a president I don't like
Eh too much for my status to think about, back to the 'ol grind
Powell has duties related to legislative power. Because he reports to congress, congress has partial jurisdiction over him and checks and balances will apply. It's a stupid thing to try in court when Trump could be going after strictly executive offices and firing them.
This is literally the 1970s over again. And for the retards asking, “so what”
Nixon forced Arthur burns to keep rates low alongside his retarded policies and it led to the famous stagflation of the 70s. Over 10 years the market didn’t make an ATH.
That inflation is what brought in volcker.
weimar germany incoming
If Trump replaces the Fed head with a toady the US dollar is literally over. It'll halve in value vs. the Euro, CAD, AUD, etc inside 6 months and domestic inflation will hit 20 percent even if Trump rolls back all the tariffs (which he wouldn't because at that point he'd have already broken everything).
checks and balances will apply
imagine still believing this
The 70s were inflationary because of oil being expensive. Interest rates barely bottomed below 3.5% Yet inflation soared to 15%. We are taling about two very different economic situations.
Powell could have stopped inflation in 2021 by raising rates to 10% like volker did. He didn't, to save biden. He is now fucking up the economy by refusing to drop rates so we can get loans to start businesses. The FED literally has no business interfering in elections to the extent it does and making things shit for americans with their idiocy.
checks and balances will apply
And now it’s 2025. A 20-25% on discretionary goods via tariffs would easily mimic the effects of the oil embargo. Regardless, trying to fix retarded policy with rate cuts is a terrible idea.
If both supreme court and congress actually let this through, then there is no sane person in charge anymore. I would liquidate everything and leave the US.
