2025: The trump effect :)

Genuinely I think the Trump Recession is the best term for this. Never before has someone so singlehandedly fucked our economy and smiled about it every step of the way. He wants his second term to make history, so lets let him have it.

Orange Monday

The Great Shart

It'll not be named after the biggest cause but instead the thing that has the largest impact on upper middle class families, as is often the case. What will likely go tits up in order:

retail investor apps

This would be the retail recession as apps like Robinhood, acorns, wealthsimple, etc go backrupt when people inevitably try to draw all of their stock value out of them and they go bankrupt as a result. I expect the retail investor focused holding companies to, within a few months, cause what would normally be a small bump to instead become a recession as large percentages of peoples from low middle class to upper middle class lose their life savings in this mostly unregulated market.

crypto

This would be the crypto recession, once more triggered by people pulling their life savings out of the bucket. This is less likely to happen than the retail depression as bitcoin, eth, etc, all have mechanisms to keep them more solvent but their unregulated nature will forever keep them open to the risk of free falling.

memestocks

This would be the meme recession. A general disillusionment with the hype f or Trump/the economy could trigger masses of people to sell of their NVDA, TSLA, GME, etc. This could tank the market as a whole as it spooks everyone seeing so many stocks fall so rapidly. Frankly, this is almost certainly not going to happen but it could lead to:

All of this

The Trump Depression. All of the three scenarios above happen. This is unlikely to happen but there's a decent possibility it does. Personally, I've gone entirely cash except 30k in gold--and I regret that because even my GLD is in freefall.

the great resetssion

the retard crash

trumpcession

the great American seppuku

first world trade war

Xi’s victory lap

Trumpcession or something very close will probably be the one the media land on

It's already being called the trumpcession

I hate how true this meme is.
That’s why I love bitcoin. It allows us to make a shit load of money for no good reason at all.

The Great Tariff Downturn
Trade war recession

One of these two, likely the second given that europoors will retaliate

Great proletariat victory

Too early to call it a Trumpcession, it could be a Trumpression.

Tariff Tantrum

Trump Recession

The Greatest Recession

god_emperor.jpg - 1024x768, 246.89K

2020 was the first Trump recession, 2025 is the 2nd, and there will be at least 1 more before his term is over

The Liberation Crash

no one can make the stock market go down like me *trump voice*

actually no,
The American Suicide
or
The Suicide Crash

2025 Trump Dump.

it's actually

2001

2008

2015

2021

2028

only can happen every 7 years on shmita year sorry

NVDA and TSLA are mainly controlled by institutions not retail. GME is mainly held by retail and they're not gonna sell since hedge-funds are using NVDA and TSLA as collateral to maintain their short position on GME.

if you just bought bitcoin in 2010 and held, you'd have a harem of girls like this right now.

Liberation recession

30k in gold

GLD

You have exactly $0.00 in gold then.
