The bad part of LA is south central, compton and the surrounding area. Anywhere else is fine. East or Southeast of LA county is a cheaper but still comfy option, and you can also look at the boring desert towns (bakersfield, fresno) to go even cheaper than that

California is one of the prettiest places in the world. And it’s world class in basically every hobby and activity you can think of. Weather is fantastic most parts of the year. I don’t wanna live there because of the demographics but it’s genuinely beautiful

You have to really, really dig the real estate market to find a comfy house that has a safe margin of distance from niggers, crackheads, the homeless and violence and also won't cost you over 5 million dollars. That is, unless you are willing to live in a less busy area like Irvine. But that probably won't be possible to people who work in Silicon Valley

All in all, even rich people are leaving California. It's only affordable and comfortable for the super rich (in metropolitan areas) or people that live in the secluded areas of the state. Outside the metropolitan areas, California really is a paradise
