Reminder: Monero is the real Bitcoin

XMR is what normalfaggots think BTC is and XMR possesses the features everyone always wanted BTC to have.

If you're anti-Monero, you're either a glownigger or freedom-hating normalfaggot of the authority-bootlicking type who's anti private ownership of firearms etc. Or both. And probably a faggot.

monero.png - 1288x600, 753.7K

inflationary shitcoin mined by any jeet with a 10,000 node botnet

hasn't seen a new ATH in fucking ages

Lol no.

Medsjak.png - 686x911, 92.22K

Didn't Chainalysis pwn Monero? Isn't the dark web going back to BTC? I looked pretty closely into it and basically Chainalysis is labeling parts of the chain which then reveal other parts of the chain as nauseum

didn't achieved ASICs

infinite (never ending) emission

lacks lightning network - can't do millions of secure transactions per minute globally

was up in your face with gubirments - got banned (harder onramps)

I... I am the REAL bitcoin!!!!!11

retard.png - 255x255, 114.91K

im all in BAT it will pump like OM soon

It's not a game of musical chairs like bitcoin where ten lose it all for one to get 10x, it's a tool to transfer value. Scam somewhere else.

Doesn't look like it. But the real problem is still using that acquired value.
So you will still have to pay a markup to the local mafia for your villa in South America.
But at least you can get the value into the country without problems.

If BTC aka glowniggercoin was as good as Monero then it would've been "banned" just as much. That BTC hasn't been "banned" proves it's the safe/allowed – (((kosher))) – coin you're meant to use; the coin they want you to use. I wrote "banned" because obviously Monero can't actually be banned; nobody and nothing can prevent people from using it. It's the absolute least bannable crypto, as all XMR is fungible unlike with Bitshit. Tainted coins is something that's impossible with Monero.

inflationary

rate of supply never increases or decreases over time

crypto usage continues to increase exponentially

What did he mean by this

inflationary shitcoin

monero isn't a shitcoin and its tail emission is meaningless for price

infinite (never ending) emission

not what tail emission is

Monero is the real Bitcoin

not quite, monero can't do the volume of transactions that bitcoin achieves
both chains are still evolving

If you're anti-Monero

yes, but if you're anti-Bitcoin, chances are that you're just a ex-bcasher trying to throw shade because you were wrong

glowniggercoin

again, probably some bcasher
anyone that says that shit doesn't understand blockchain at all

TL;DR: both chains are good and if you instead try to shill for one over the other, you're the fed

monero can't do the volume of transactions that bitcoin achieves

Why not?

muh block size

Please. Hard drives are dirt cheap.

That BTC hasn't been "banned" proves it's the safe/allowed – (((kosher))) – coin

fucking BASED!
seethe and cope, altcoiner.

didn't achieved ASICs

It did achieve ASICS and then it BTFOd them.

Stop shilling it you're going to ruin it.

Reminder to never spend your BTC if you want to make it, XMR is for all that economic stuff.

Monero enables judaism

What features?
CPU mining lets botnets fuck up the economics.
L1 privacy adds complexity, bloat, and vulnerabilities
No max block size adds even more bloat
Node size and sync time is ridiculous, would be unusable at Bitcoin's tx count with no decentralization
Tail emission just means botnets dump into shrinking liquidity

Bitcoin is exactly what I want and expect it to be. And it's not your shitcoin

BTC was created by the NSA and other agencies. It was a government project.
NSA paper from 1996: groups.csail.mit.edu/mac/classes/6.805/articles/money/nsamint/nsamint.htm

even talks about the "double spend" problem

Note there's a "Tatsuaki Okamoto" there. Not only does Okamoto sound similar to Nakamoto, but if you rearrange the letters you get close to Satoshi Nakamoto.

TATSUAKI OKAMOTO
SATO__I _AKAMOTO (discarded: T, U and K)

The extra needed letters are S, H and N.

The NSA created SHA 256, which Bitcoin uses.

S and H can be found in "SHA 256".
Remove S and H from "SHA 256" and left is "A 256".
A is the 1st letter of the alphabet.
So "A 256" equals "1 256".
1+2+5+6 equals 14.
The 14th letter of the alphabet is N.
So "1 256" equals N.
So, "SHA 256" = SHN <--- the extra needed letters missing in "SATO__I _AKAMOTO".

Very nice. Why do you think they discarded T U K? Also do Nicolas van Saberhagen.

Reminder: Monero is the pedocoin

Bitcoin can't be banned retard, that's the point. China tried very hard to ban bitcoin mining and transactions and it had basically no effect on it. It's way way too decentralised at this point for any government to stop. Monero is less decentralised and it is only getting worse over time with the bloat acceleration. There are big problems in trying to do everything on a L1 also.

I think monero is kinda useful but I don't think it has any long term future honestly compared to what is being built on bitcoin.

BTC was created by the NSA and other agencies. It was a government project.

thanks, government <3

L1 privacy adds complexity, bloat, and vulnerabilities

Why? Lightning is a dumpster fire, coinjoins are less private and less secure, so it's really weird to compare the complexity of btc l2 to monero.

No max block size adds even more bloat

Enjoy your 10-minute long transactions, kek.

Node size and sync time is ridiculous, would be unusable at Bitcoin's tx count with no decentralization

Wrong. Do the math, at the same tx count monero would require only ~20TB of storage. It's literally just ~200$ in storage, nigger.

muh botnets

How's that a problem?

reminder: BTC is government controlled
whenever someone says "its for the children" what they mean is they want all your personal information so that they can put you in jail whenever they feel like it.

Lightning is a dumpster fire,

they work fine

coinjoins are less private and less secure

no

Lightning works fine for small payments, which is the majority of day to day spending. If I want to move $10k I'll take the 40 cent hit in fees, confident that unlike Monero, Bitcoin is actually secure. Also coinjoin is amazing. You'd know if you ever used it. But most important, none of that stuff is weighing down the L1

Enjoy your 10-minute long transactions

Doesn't Monero have a 10 minute lockout as well. Plus security is so low you have to wait days for any significant amount of cash to securely settle

only ~20TB of storage

Lmao, only 20TB. 20TB of SSDs no less since Monero can't function on a HDD. I'll just get all my friends to whip out their storage servers so your network stays decentralized

how are botnets a problem?

If gold mining was suddenly dominated by a company that could mine gold for free, the value of gold would crater. For PoW security comes from the economic resources being used up to create new blocks.

tell me you know nothing about how lightning works without telling me

Yeah, sure, great tech. Try hosting a node sometime.

coinjoin is amazing secure and private

Nuh uh. Chainalysis doesn't complain about coinjoin - makes you wonder, doesn't it?
Also, contrary to monero, there are multiple coinjoin providers - pick the wrong one, and you risk getting fucked. It is centralized by design.

If I want to move $10k I'll take the 40 cent hit in fees, confident that unlike Monero, Bitcoin is actually secure

This is just your own bias.

Doesn't Monero have a 10 minute lockout as well

2 minutes per block.

Plus security is so low you have to wait days for any significant amount of cash to securely settle

What? Nonsense.

Lmao, only 20TB. 20TB of SSDs no less since Monero can't function on a HDD. I'll just get all my friends to whip out their storage servers so your network stays decentralized

Are you really going to complain about storage requirements in 2025? This is just a stupid argument. But yeah, okay, I guess your friends all have asic-based mining farms for btc - these are much easier and cheaper to get, right.

If gold mining was suddenly dominated by a company that could mine gold for free, the value of gold would crater. For PoW security comes from the economic resources being used up to create new blocks.

You have machines doing computation anyway. How's that free? By that logic, anyone who participates in a btc mining pool might be seen as a bot in a botnet, and therefore btc is not secure.

Lightning works fine for small payments, which is the majority of day to day spending.

Nigga plz, even Bitcoiners don't want to use LN when its an option.

Nigga plz, even Bitcoiners don't want to use LN when its an option.

show now break down comparing paying with CC versus Bitcoin, on Amazon
retard.

coinjoin providers - pick the wrong one, and you risk getting fucked.

you can use it more than 1 time
also, add LN into the mix

picrel

Every. Fucking. Time. These discussions always go the same route.

btcprivacy.jpg - 640x640, 67.46K

Nice deflection but the point still stands: most bitcoiners prefer on-chain payments due to the principle of least effort.

Except coinjoins are extremely low effort. Install wasabi, select a provider, then do nothing. The entire process is automatic

True on that, monero is more difficult to get into. This will change with the upcoming serai dex which will allow to swap btc, eth, and dai into monero via AMM - think jupiter or uniswap but for monero.

good bait, great larping as a retard

Theres nothing wrong with monero. It's users are pretty firm on the idea of anonymity

The majority of btc owners have abandoned the ideology of anonymity in exchange for institutional and government adoption.

Grim.

All the time you hear Monero maxis telling Bitcoiners what they think or what they care about. You people sure love to straw man.

by that logic Monero is shit because it's not been banned compared to Tornado Cash which was banned.

inflationary

It has a hard limit of 0.6 XMR per block.

Bitcoin can't be banned retard

The mining factories are sitting ducks.

CPU mining lets botnets

Monero's RandomX requires 2GB ram. Botnets eliminated.
