Previous Thread:

Sure the technology makes things convenient but is that enough to make something money? Usually things that are convenient are rarely ever valuable.

remoralization with reasonably priced numismatics please

Reposting for context, and because i was asked to:

Explain to me what value Bitcoin has without pointing to the dollar

no Bitcoin maxie has yet to answer this, everytime i ask the conversation ends. Sometimes they'll say "independence, pre-digitized, borderless, portable, un-takeable" as if that's supposed to mean anything but those aren't real answers, and when i point that out the thread gets archived.

What the FUCK is going to happen to gold/silver/copper with Trump in the white house?

What does the next 6 months have in store for us?

Explain to me what value Bitcoin has without pointing to the dollar

no, go kys, im busy making dollars off of bitcoin so i can buy more gold

I was replying to someone's request to do that, not requesting someone else do it. I agree with you, the people ITT that sperg about BTC instead of using it to buy more gold are retarded. Imagine sitting out yet another parabolic run because "muh internet being turned off".

Expect PM prices to crater and the doom and gloom threads to abound. Know that this is a good sign. You don't pull the rug on people when they expect it, you wait for their comfort.

Best to be prepared for some suck even if we're on the right side of things, absolutely. For this reason it's also a good idea to be debt free and have some fiat to use available without dipping into your stack as well.

Yes, they have lured Trump into a trap that he can't get out of. Why? Not to overthrow the man himself, but to demolish the ideals that got him into power.

I hope this won't be the hurrah of freedom, but they will be the last gurgles we hear for a while.

If he tariffs gold/silver imports will the price spike or crash?

SIlver is almost at buying prices

below 30$ for another few months and then it can go back up

Bitcorn is a dollar derivative
Few have a high enough IQ to understand that

so the tulip craze then

You fund the government when you buy bitcorn

Yes, a modern technological and financial wonder is the same as some flowers. Very high IQ take.

USD-> exchange -> stable coin -> T-bills

99% of the population now priced out forever

yes what a great system

Bitcoin being priced in dollars doesn't make it a dollar derivative. Because neither is gold. It's just usually priced in dollars because everything else is too. You can convert in your head if you want. 1BTC costs 30oz Au. There are coin shops that take Bitcoin.

See

BTC maxis don't understand PMs, PM maxis don't understand BTC and both act like having one has to exclude the other. We both hate the US dollar. We can both live.

i don't know exactly but considering that a huge financial crisis is imminent and that he says he is going to cut taxes despite not having the funds to do that, leading to much more deficit spending, i'd say that it still looks very bullish for pm

a mixture between tulip mania and in my view a way to mask inflation. there is some utility to it but it is far too overvalued

also wtf is that 15 minute timer. why did we return to biz again?

I've read this and it's pretty hilarious how antiquated the ideas are compared with how BTC actually works. It reminds me of watching older sci-fi movies how they imagined the future working and it was just fancier looking versions of existing tech. They couldn't imagine a system that works without banks.

The USD is attached on the side intake and there are various scams that pump the price to unreasonable levels, Tether most notably, but fundamentally Bitcoin is not based on the US dollar. It's not derived from it in any meaningful way and it can continue working just fine without it.

Stablecoins are the 18th largest holder of us debt

Tether is an absolute scam, they just print 130b out of thin air, but that has been commenderd years ago

You send your money to coinbase to buy BTC and coinbase buys usdc, and usdc buys it's

*UST's

It's a tangible asset with no counterparty risk

need 150 gold coins to buy a house

Seems like such a scam. Housing is way too expensive now

Did peasants in Europe 1000 years ago pay 150 gold coins for a house? Of course not

Was europe as globalized as today back then?

Peasants by definition don't own land

Houses back then didn't require planning permission and the population was nowhere near the level it is today.

1980 was a statistical anomaly

It's pretty normal for businesses sitting on tons of cash to buy treasuries. I think it's evil because they're complicit in a scheme to enslave all of humanity but whatever. The scams don't change what's a dollar derivative or not but they do cause pumps and dumps (same in the gold and silver market). Stablecoins are different because they track dolar value 1:1 until they shit the bed. They very much are derivatives of the dollar.

1980 was a statistical anomaly

And you think what's about to come isn't going to be?

Now compare wages paid in silver coins for the last 1000 years.

A mega bubble should not be some baseline valuation
It's low IQ and you should safely discount anyone's viewpoint that uses it

Compare their productivity while we're at it

Posting on Anon Babble is peak productivity. Prove me wrong.

i think its just wonderful the tinfoil doomer get-together we have over here

I'm usually on here while I'm at work, so yes

Did you prepare your statement in Microsoft Excel 365?

A mega bubble should not be some baseline valuation

It's low IQ

It's only low IQ when you blindly take someone's word instead of looking into things. Such as:

1. Central banks are buying gold in record levels quietly.
2. History has shown that national currencies max out around 100 years.
3. Mass bank failures over the past few years.
4. Extreme money printing just to keep the banks afloat.
5. The existence of monetary instruments to manipulate the market value of gold.
6. Central bank authorities have already confirmed that gold revaluation will be used to save its ass.

Im having a little problem here ordering from Degussa can anyone help me out?
I ordered one sovereign to be delivered to me on Friday but when i came home at around 13 they the package delivery tracker said they where here at 11 and could deliver the package so they went home
Now i can make a new deal for the package to be delivered but i have to pay a 18 eur special delivery fee and i will most likely not be able to take the package if they deliver it at the same time again
Usually i just pick up my orders at the store in person anyway i can do this now?

None of that has anything to do with the hunt bros scam
Wasn't a properly functioning free market that displayed real price discovery with only one monopoly buyer

I have similar problems with the GSR being a government mandated rate, and not open to true price discovery. Not to mention the absurd depths of history proponents cite that allegedly have any relevance today

Hello, this is the Degussa helpline. Our records indicate you, De'shawn Washington, signed for your package today. Thank you for your inquiry and have a lovely day.

None of that has anything to do with the hunt bros scam

Neither does gold.

Look at a chart nigger

Peasants by definition don't own land

Not in medieval France. There were large landowners among the peasant leaders of the popular uprisings of the 14th century. Even serfs could form consortium to own their own house and avoid the mainmorte when passing it to their heirs. Idk about England though.

Look at a chart nigger

What fucking chart? We're comparing gold prices to house prices, the Hunt brothers hoarding silver has fuck all to do with gold vs houses.

PMs, until their real value is necessitated (by the collapse of fiat), ride the wave of perception. Go outside, talk to average people, what is everyone feeling? Optimism.

PM holders are about to unironically go through the crucible and only true believers in the fundamentals will survive. Everyone and their mother will be selling their metal as cheapies to get out and take advantage of the booming stock market. Every asset class will outperform the negatives PMs are about to go through.

You might stand to do well day trading for short term to get yourself into PMs in the long term. Of course you will look and sound like a total retard when you're trading increasing stocks for decreasing metal, but the fundamentals remain and there will be a day of reckoning coming. The question is, can you get out on time?

The economy is the biggest game of hot potato in all of history. Go read a book, check out, and await the collapse, it has never been closet yet it will feel like it's moving further away from reality.

Good times to buy cheapies inbound, the question is, do you have the strength of character to overcome your feelings and hold fast to the truth? If no, you'll have a comfortable present, if yes, your future has never been brighter.pK8GG

I hope this won't be the hurrah of freedom, but they will be the last gurgles we hear for a while

The flame of Liberty doesn't die until YOU extinguish it. I intend to hold onto it through death. But if you give up on yours, then it matters not who else still carries it as you're already a slave.

A lot of people are about to give up their freedom, they just don't know it yet.
