Can you point me to the proof for the shit you're spouting? Everything I've read notes that HRT dramatically improves wellbeing of trans people. The disease (dysphoria) is what causes the misery. This is like saying that chemotherapy causes people to die and not cancer, just because a shitload of cancer patients are on chemotherapy.

41% is a meme for a reason. There is truth behind it. The internet is filled w stories of people who are miserable during/after transition, especially surgical, but also hormonal. Btw I actually do think that chemotherapy kills many people faster than the cancer it is intended to treat, but that is just from my own personal experiences of knowing people who went through it.

If that's a published statistic, it is almost certain to have some form of sampling error or bias. Not just because troon misery appears so ubiquitous and obvious regardless of transitional status, but also bc 99% efficacy is exceptional for any treatment in any disease.
