That’s how I would do it if I could start all over again, I’m pretty much stuck until I get back to my cost basis but I’ve already received back more than my original investment. SCHD is a safer bet for sure but it stays right in that $26-29 range and doesn’t appreciate much beyond the quarterly divvy. Wash sale fucked me on Robinhood with NVDY last year before they rolled out tax basis lot selling you had to manually tell customer support when you wanted to sell a specific lot otherwise they use FIFO by default and somewhere when I was swing trading it last summer I got a shitload extra added to my cost basis unbeknownst and didn’t find out until filing taxes so definitely stay safe on these funds
