This means that either 2 things happen:

1) Palantir never reaches that price , the contract is now worthless , I collect 131 premium. The premium is the amount of money you get paid to take on that risk. Nothing happens and I got paid to wait.

2) palantir drops below 87 in 3 days, I now have to buy 100 stocks at 87 each(subtract the premium from the total). Now I own 100 shares and go to the next step:

3) Sell covered call ABOVE my entry price (87). If stock doesn't reach that, collect premium, walk away.

4)If it goes above I sell at that price, capping my upside but also collecting the premium. Repeat step one now.

You can't actually lose big with this strategy and you make much more weekly than parking money at gay etfs.

You can also do the above with a margin account but you will be giga fucked If you get assigned at step 1 because you will need to pay enough to buy 100 shares so don't do that .
