So what exactly are the jobs of an import-based economy like the United States? Obviously you have Door Dash and Uber drivers but…what else? How do you build an entire economy off of people just consuming stuff with debt?

Worship Israel

You only need enough money to pay the rent. Everything past that is greed. Rent is due no later than the 3rd of the month.

we give people pieces of paper called "dollar bills" and women have sex for it

People sitting in front of computers in offices actually do things, believe it or not.

I am one of those people and I assure you I don’t do shit

Gardening and anything home upkeep related. These fancy import supply change managers need their oversized homes taken care of.

What is the need to simplify complex issues? How could anyone explain this issue to you in a way that would make it past your thick skull.

Me too actually, I'm shitposting from my work computer right now but I also have literally zero supervision. I could bring a hooker to my room at work there's 70% chance I'd get away with it because I'm not really employed to make money, it's a private non-profit rich people project.

No, those are fake work email jobs where you spend your days communicating with other office drones. They're essentially adult daycare meaningless jobs, AI makes those jobs obsolete.

Hook me up with a similar plug, bro.... I'm WAGING
AAAAAAAAAA

AI makes those jobs obsolete.

How can AI replace a fake job that doesn't do anything? AI can only replace actual work. Seems the email jobs are safest of all.

Ai that was built by people… sitting in front of a computer communicating with other office drones. Very cool very good now off to the factory with you

sex sex sex i want sexxxx

if I'm worthlessly reductive I can make anything sound like anything

How do you build an entire economy off of people just consuming stuff with debt?

We have the second largest manufacturing base out of all countries, which is almost three times the size of #3. It's literally larger than Germany, India, South Korea, the UK, Italy, France, and Mexico combined.

Most of the economy is office workers pushing useless paper. I work in an office and more than 50% of my work is just dealing with stupid bureaucracy that is mandated by the government. We could fire all women from their workplaces and nothing would change. Just give men twice their salary and we could get submissive women marrying at 20 years old and raising children like they are supposed to.

And who works in those manufacturing jobs? Oh right, illegal immigrants.

what is intellectual capital

No idea. I quit my job when inflation made the pay an absolute joke. Now I exist to be everybody else’s problem.

Yeah Paco and the boys are building nuclear subs in Groton.

Meaningless? What’s stopping a country from just copy-pasting your work.

...

There has never been a non-retarded post that uses this.

ai was built by

And now you are obsolete, you fucking retad.

America

building ships

lol
lmao even

We exported that to Korea and China

Kneepads
They will suck the BCC for a few yuans

That thing China now dominates thanks to actually doing things which trains valuable skills.

For the next 20-50 years? Military construction and the raw materials required to run military construction. They're already booting up new factories for US Steel at a loss currently because its a strategic need, not a financial need. You'll see new shipyards, tank building facilities, F-35 production lines and such open up the taps over the next 5-10 years, by the time we're in the opening moves of WW3 with China they'll be good to go.

The entire economy is shifting over to a war footing. Crashing foreign assets and investment with no survivors is part of the point, we can't have wealthy civillians having the sort of political power and pull that they have today during wartime.

Whoa someone should tell the 15,000 people that work for GDEB what apparently only this guy knows. Seriously though chuckles, migrants are sitting around on welfare or washing dishes getting paid under the table at your local taco truck. The only prod jobs they're working are agriculture related and too dirty for anyone else to want to do, like killing chickens for your tendies all day.

15,000 people, wow! That’s almost .004% of the workforce! What industry!

You'll notice that despite real unemployment being 4-5 times what is actually reported, despite massive tent cities cropping up all over the US and people not being able to afford homes, that the economy is still running entirely fine. We simply don't need three quarters of the human population for production anymore - machines have made everything an order of magnitude more efficient, and even training chinks and jeets to do the work is working fine. Technical knowledge and a large workforce is no longer required, you only even want more people around to depress wages with competition, not to actually all be part of the employment pool.

The economy is working fine and will continue to work fine. We won't be in any danger of shortages that aren't artificial to generate panic and headlines, and frankly, we can afford to lose at least 6 billion people on this planet before anything even begins to go wrong.

Investment is another issue. It wasn't real money to begin with, and its gambling at best, and the people who engage in it deserve whatever they get.

20/80 is only a rule of thumb, in US it's 1-2% who create all the value.

in US it's 1-2% who create all the value.

1-2%

hmmm curious choice of number

The Chinese can’t assemble an elevator that doesn’t devour people

The same tired old cliches but Europeans travel in style in Chinese cars

You don't, which is why Trump won, and why none of his supporters care about a line that doesn't affect their lives at all.

Point is it's a tiny minority. 7% in manufacturing. 80% of them are probably HR and middle management. Some researchers and entrepreneurs create value but those people don't even account for close to 1% of the population.

import-based economy

Military.
Its obvious when you think about it.

What other nations in history had 'import based economies'? The Mongols? The Vikings?

It’s actually a defensive play on part of big corps.
You “reserve” a part of the workforce so thr competition doesn’t get them (or they don’t become your competition).
That’s why it was so easy for them to go woke and stop hiring whites. Until basic attrition made it unsustainable.

Kek salty migatard spotted. AI was built by people sitting in front of a computer all day chatting with coworkers and working from home even. Does this make you seethe with impotent rage

Pre 19th century China? Merchants would bring things and couldn’t even haggle. Some bureaucrat would simply tell you how much they were paying for the stuff.

Stop equating research staff with office drones. They are not the same.
