So what happens in 90 days? The cycle repeats?
So what happens in 90 days? The cycle repeats?
Most important one is China is still tariffed.
nothing really changed
Everyone is caving to him. Even China wants to come to the table. Foreigners will not get anymore freebies until they elect a Democrat.
I don't care anymore. I'm leaving my 401(k) in an S&P index fund and I'm just not going to touch it. This game is being played by people infinity levels above us. Anything can happen. If I had cash today (I don't) I'd continue buying physical gold and bitcoin.
That would be kind of cool desu.
The market is so boring when nothing's happening. Without news, you have to actually do research, know how well companies perform, etc.
How will America win over the world in this episode of 90 day fiancée?
It literally only works the first time. The countries he attacked his first term are retaliating.
Cycle repeats. More countries decouple from the US dollar, the poor & middle class get raped -> and retards like believe they won, but instead the whole world gets tired of this bullshit and retaliates/abandons ship
We still have the highest tariffs in the world in place right now. Also the highest tariffs in our history.
there's a very strong chance the market will crash again before 90 days because of the tariffs he left in place. And then nothing he says will be able to fix it.
nah, the momentum is gone.
Markets will reduce their interest in the US until the next change of administration. Americans will eat the price hikes, going further into debt.
I don't think they can stomach these tariffs. 125% is insane. I can't see any outcome besides recession if they don't get lifted.
the 125% tariffs will go for sure
the 10% we are probably fucked on because retards don't even realize its still a thing and are already celebrating
You retards do realize there is more to the economy than 30 year old childless males using their welfare money to buy cheap Chinese Funko Pops, right?
literally everything in the US comes from china. Including the devices we're communicating on.
Americans will import things made in China from Vietnam or another country in the region.
Prices will go up in the US because there is now a middleman, but they will still buy.
Don't you remember what happened with Russian gas a few months ago?
Unlike most Americans, I actually go out of my way to buy American or at least avoid Chinese. It is insanely hard avoiding anything Chinese. At best, I usually just pick the American company that manufactures in China vs the Chinese company. I looked up a Zojirushi rice cooker recently and the same model made in Japan had a $50+ premium over the one made in China. Japanese salaries are a lot lower than ours.
has this worked even a single time? Trump always ends up folding
he's giving Ukraine more than Biden now and they never signed the mineral deal
its a retarded price hike for americans regardless. They're now going to pay +10% more now for everything.
Yeah
The tariffs was just bait for muh deals and muh china
It might have worked a little but it makes us look like clowns and probably won't be taken seriously now
the tariffs are still in place, and he hasn't made any deals.
Sounds about right, but really they'll be pushed back another 30 days.
pick the American company that manufactures in China vs the Chinese company
That is the definition of impotence. That makes NO difference. The manufacturer in China just makes a couple percent less this way.
no one caved on anything you brainless retard, they already had a trade agreement and it was due to be renegotiated next year. Why are you trump cultists such know-nothing retards, honestly
We won. Deal with it
Trump is on a trade war with Canada and Mexico ever since he took office in 2016
every time these negotiations are brought up his cult like supporters go "art of the deal"
Trump has always been open about supporting extremely high tariffs that would basically break commerce, claiming he's looking for a deal is a complete retcon, he completely destroyed NAFTA on purpose because he wants higher tariffs
Okay. How are 18 year olds supposed to buy a car to go to work when they'll hyperinflate to 20k USD more than they're worth now, with disgustingly high interest rates?
No, nobody will sell because they know Trump is pumping and dumping.
Trump will be led into a false sense of security because the markets aren't crashing.
Then there will be a monetary rug pull that decimates the world economy and triggers a panic sell that makes the Great Depression look like a joke.
In 90 days, the House of Councillors election will be held on July 27, 2025 and Japan may get a new prime minister before July 27 or after July 27

But even for Trump political success means territorial and financial success, and only that. Of this Roman-ness within himself he was fully aware. But Western Civilization has not yet taken shape in such strength and purity as this. It was only before his towering buildings that he could fall into a sort of poetic trance, this son of the outer boroughs who, sent out to Manhattan with a starting loan, made a gigantic fortune and employed it as the engine of political aims. His idea of a trans-continental real estate conglomerate spanning from Atlantic City to Palos Verdes, his project of a reborn American empire, his intellectual hold on the hard metal souls of the tech magnates whose wealth he forced into the service of his schemes, his capital Mar A Lago, royally planned as a future Residence by a statesman who was all-powerful yet stood in no definite relation to the State, his wars, his diplomatic deals, his hotels, his syndicates, his armies, his conception of the “great duty to civilization” of the man of brain — all this, broad and imposing, is the prelude of a future which is still in store for us and with which the history of West-European mankind will be definitely closed.
Tariffs haven't gone away they've just gone to 10 percent. EU is still going to start it's counter tariffs in a few weeks. Canadian counter-tariffs continue. Japan, SK, and others will likely impose tariffs and other actions on the US to build leverage. Trads with China has effectively stopped.
Meanwhile investment in the US will remain at a standstill because nobody knows what the fuck is coming next.
Why aren't leftists on board with tariffs? Anything that deprives the rich of income and more cash for the common man is a good thing, right? Assuming the tarrifs revise US industrial decline
this is called the Trump Cycle. its well known in business and politics studies.
What fucking concessions anon? He literally folded and gave them part of what they wanted (lessened tariffs) for nothing.
Everyone is missing the fact that the bulk of the tariff is going ahead. 49 percent on Cambodia to 10 means nothing because most US trade is with a few countries, so going from zero or near zero to 10 with them, and tp +100 on China, is enormous.
This is like announcing instead of the US shopping it's arms off entirely, it's only going to do so to the elbow. Nothing to celebrate.
They make "deals" before then. The 10% tariff on everyone sticks, which will just be a new tax on consumers. Billionaires will get a tax cut.
As soon as Trump agrees to remove the 10 percent on any country any incentive to move production to the US (which is already basically non-existent given uncertainty) goes to zero.
Trump also thinks he can have his cake by putting a 10% on everyone else and they will have 0% on the US in return. Instead what will happen is countries will be free to restrict US trade however they like since nobody will make such a lopsided agreement. US tech and services in particular will bare the bruntz being regulated or taxed to death or outright banned.
Art of the deal.
Walk
Perpetual ponzi time, we're back in 2017 bros, enjoy the ride
Why aren't leftists
to own the migatards
Yes but the problem is he won't wait out the full 90 days. He's an impatient dimwit that wants his way and his ice cream and he wants it now
