I follow this "walter Bloomberg" since 2018 and his tweets have always been on-point until now. Just copy-pasting headlines from the terminal. Never wrong or shady stuff.

No he didn't.
The origin of this rumor wasn't the Bloomberg terminal, it was his own X account.
He blamed CNBC and posted a screencap from them, but his tweet about it is older than the screencap he posted.
FT tracked the origin of the rumor and it all begun with an account called Hammer Capital (first origin of the rumor), then this walter Bloomberg guy, and from his account CNBC picked it up.
So when he claims he got the rumor from CNBC he is lying.
This was a deliberate scam wick.
