I calibrate scales for a living, which means I service a lot of manufacturing. Even before today, with all the tariff talk recently places are starting to cut workers and re-think investing and growing.
A pretty big manufacturer of flour-based products we just did work for last week said they have reduced production down to one shift from two shifts, and have basically put half their staff on standby. They say a lot of their contracts, many they've had for years, are pulling out.
Other places recently have been similar, also have had a few cancel our service because of it. Gonna get weird soon.
