What is the ugliest coin ever made?

shopping.jpg - 480x420, 33.5K

I’ve been trading in my buffaloes and maples for 90% junk at a slight loss cuz this post spooked me. I bet the powers that be knew this would all happen decades ago and the people buying anything but 90% constitutional junk and American silver eagles are going to get raped.

1 Troy ounce of silver equals 1 Troy ounce of silver.
Seems like sophisticated FUD to me.

Buying silber before the price skyrockets on Monday

IMG_7890.png - 1200x1200, 1.68M

If this is sophisticated FUD, what could possibly be the purpose behind it?

Yes I know 1 ounce is 1 ounce. But i wouldn’t put it past the faggots in the govt to pull something like this off. I’m not taking any chances.

For every 20 ounces of buffaloes I turn in I get back like 19.2 ounces of silver back in 90% junk. So it isn’t that big a deal.

mfw got rich from buying silver

You're more jewish than IQDelete

Take your meds anon

20 ounces of buffaloes I turn in I get back like 19.2 ounces

You're a fool.

Silliness

price skyrockets on Monday

I have a slight level of skepticism.

Probably not a ton. But a few dollars could happen

Yeah true. Championships are made up of multiple victories.

Dude that’s not awful. So if I did it with 200 ounces I lose like 8 ounces. Big fucking deal. I’m not from Europe.

i have a feeling the paper will be sold off while physical stock is bought up @ lcs & ebay.. this might be when physical and spot prices start to substantially diverge like during the first few weeks of covid ($12 spot w/ $6 "premiums")

paper.png - 176x106, 28.93K

Why would it go up a few dollars on Monday? I feel like it's going to drop along with most stocks

Two questions:
1. I bought about 11k USD of SLV before I understood the issue with paper silver. Is it worth taking the capital gains hit to close the position and rotate into physical? I already own 300 oz or so of physical. I'm not convinced of a SHTF scenario - I just think silver is wildly undervalued compared to other hard assets and that as de-dollarization and US deficits increase it will be much more valuable. Additionally, while the paper silver is oversold, the counter-party is Blackrock, which I don't think will go bankrupt if silver goes from $35 to $100-200. They own everything.

2. Does silver have to be stored airtight? I have bought many of the Costco 10oz liberty bars. They are in plastic, but its not air tight, it has tiny holes in it.

As long as you don't tell her where your stack is hidden.
There was this tinder date i smoked pot with, and while high i felt comfortable (dumb) enough to tell her about my big silber stack. She immediately asked if she could see it. I said hell no, and she kept insisting to the point it became really awkward. Like bitch, i've met you 4 hours ago, and all i want is to put my P in that smelly V of yours...
Since i was high af the awkwardness sublimed into paranoia and i ended up ousting her pretexting a friend needed some help asap.

Just got done talking about the International Jew, denying the holocaust, and explaining why Hitler did nothing wrong to my wife. She agrees and understands. Don't ever marry any woman that has differing views on critical subjects.

I don't buy it but I'll be alright because I've been buying it for melt price because nobody else wants it at my lcs

Dawg I get it for 24.44 an oz in their actual silver content, I get 8 oz extra every 1k usd..
Methinks you're being jewed ...

I thought mutt boomers loved US junk? What are they buying then?

How do you even calculate spot for junk.

Ok please explain the process mathematically for me. Cuz I can’t figure out junk for the life of me.

spot x 0.715 per $1 face

Once coin shop said they sell at melt. wtf does that mean?

They like the shinies. My LCS always has tarnished walking liberties, peace eagles, krugers, etc. Bought a handful at $32/oz. Boombooms like it shiny with a great attitude and a firm handshake.

So if I’m selling 20 buffaloes and I get 33.5 ($1 below spot), that is $670. How much silver ounces in junk should I be getting if they are selling at melt.

appx 19.67 ozt

Ok so I’m getting fucked by line .4 ounces. Whatever I don’t care.

My small central new york city of less than 50k people is tapped out economically and the last 3 or 4 times I went into the shop there was atleast 1 or 2 people selling their jewelry or collectors coins when i'm there on fridays 11-2pm.

I forgot the calculation but he tells me how much per oz of coins (which is about 12-14 coins depending on the wear ) I spend because hes selling to me for the price that he'd get if he sent them to the refiner (because nobody is buying them and he'd rather not deal with the bullshit of paying them and shipping it and getting their cut taken out etc) which in the case that I bought most of them was $22 so doing some math It was something like 24.44444444444444444444 per actual silver oz , is probably right I honestly can't remember off the top of my head but I have the shit weighted infront of me and he writes the price on the bag for me

also if I'm conflating melt price and refiner price as a term I'm sorry for that too I'm retarded I only have 500+ oz in bullion and coins x actual silver content I'm not a real authority on any of this beyond I know I'm getting a great fucking deal for the actual silver content

shit stack for reference alot more people in these threads know alot more especially concerning numismatics and how lcs do business, again sorry for rambling

oh and theyre buying ase at best and costco pamp bars for the most part

This IS my stack edition

Well.... the plastic bits anyway.

I just bought 6 buffaloes today lmao. Your FUD won't stop me.

That's all I need to know.
