Is he right?

this is good. boomers lashing out at young ones not buying their overpriced shit boxes at 7% interest. eventually they give in and start lowering their prices

work

still can't buy a house

many such TBDs

wah wah wah wah wah wah wah entitled old out of touch faggot retard who should kill himsefl

file.jpg - 1816x2421, 510.75K

Are you?

i understand the rage of those that burned the shit out of their time to climb the pyramid, just for the new meat not want to play the game.
that said obviously those who can get out of the rat race are a minority.

as for op, are you lazy if you value time more than money and gave up on having both?

Ignorant ass boomer.
Day of the Pillow can't come soon enough.

Why don't we just kill this guy

Davebros… they’re laughing at us again

He's either;
A) Bait trolling hard
B) Maximum retarded

In either one of these cases one can conclude he's not worth any further thought. Unless, you too, are very retarded and your ad-riddled brain just can't keep its focus for more than 2 seconds.

According to Realtor.com:

That would equate to an astounding 49% of the median gross monthly income of Americans of first-time homebuyer age, between 25 and 44.

In some of the country's larger metros, estimated payments would be an even higher share of the typical first-time homebuyer's income—or even beyond what they earn.

For instance, in Los Angeles, typical first-time homebuyers would have to spend 115% of their gross income on potential monthly housing costs. In San Diego, it would be 88%, while in San Jose, it would be 73%.

If a majority would start working 50% more to get this down to one third, the prices would increase again, as they are only determined by what can be paid by a few select landlords, locking out this said majority AGAIN.
So the problem is that parasitic, mentally ill and corrupt elites like him and puppeteered corrupt soulless politicians fucked with immigration policy, and bought houses en masse.

Boomers fucked up the economy, fucked up the opportunities, the education system, prices, wages, everything. Shit. They even managed to fuck up entertainment for zoomers.
Now instead of feeling any type of guilt or remorse they are just absolutely shamelessly rolling the blame on the kids that had absolutely no part on creating the dumpsterfire thats the modern day economy we live in.

he's not worth any further thought

On the contrary.

And now, ladies and gents, AI & robots...

It's both.

Most Millennials and Zoomers I know are lazy, privileged, whiney faggots that literally don't even know how to make an omelet. They work a basic 9 - 5 job at a retail store or factory, then bitch about how they're broke. Then you see them living alone in an apartment and driving around in a brand new truck or car that costs $500 - $700/mo.

That being said, wages have not kept up with housing prices, insurance prices, or grocery prices. But, it has surpassed technology prices. TVs, phones and computers are 1000x better than they were 30 years ago and they cost exactly the same as they did in 1995.

People need to learn to be frugal, stop scrolling Instagram which makes you envious of the whores and random rich video gamers like Asmongold, and live with roommates or their parents.

We pretend like Boomers had it easy, completely forgetting the Vietnam War draft, the entire shitshow of the 1970s, Weather Underground, massive gang/mafia violence from the 1960s - 1990s, the 2008 financial crisis, etc. They went through all of that. FFS my mom didn't even have air-conditioning until the early 2000s.

You need to stop blaming generations as a whole and start focusing on what YOU can do in your own personal life. Dave Ramsey is a dickhead and every Millennial and Zoomer that can stay living with their parents should.

sold away the country

hoard all the real-estate

call us lazy and spend or donate our inheritance

gaslight young people

expect us to protect them in times of war

upset there are browns or gooks looking after them in the nursing home

Lol

yeah

He's right, tho I would blame the entitlement more than the laziness. I know a ton of these types who actually can afford a home but they aren't interested in starter homes and instead just seethe endlessly at 1m$ listings

I applied to join ICE because they give you a government apartment and you have 20+ hours of overtime at a 2x rate. Base pay is like 23 bucks an hour though so not good, but after a few years you'd be working 7 days a week and pulling 200k a year and harming boomer businesses like his by deporting his pet spics- very based.

Option C) boomers don't care if you suffer or society collapses after they die, only that in the moment you're not doing what they want.

That being said, wages have not kept up with housing prices, insurance prices, or grocery prices. But, it has surpassed technology prices. TVs, phones and computers are 1000x better than they were 30 years ago and they cost exactly the same as they did in 1995.

This is the most boomer post you could have possibly made because your argument is literally "you can't afford a house and family but you can get a smartphone for 600 bucks!".

It's a combination of things, but really it signals a massive collapse when people are no longer participating in society.

every Millennial and Zoomer that can stay living with their parents should.

The problem is that I can buy a silent, 3.5 second to 60, nearly self-driving Volvo made of exotic materials, and tricked out to the last detail for 30k.
Paying 20x that for a new house made of cardboard and poison, where the bathroom door hits the toilet, that is just ridiculously overpriced.
The two core problems of housing are
- immigration flooding & landlord hording - medieval construction methods, if Volvo would build a car like a house, it would be a death trap and cost 20 million

I should add one important thing: Most people have to slave away for their whole life to pay for basic shelter. Not so much in the very rich USA, but in tax prison Europe, this is certainly true.
The consequences of this are severe: People have to take and keep the next job, creating a population of mismatched workers who are never free to build some value from saved income, pursue a new business, for example, improve society.
Because the latter is what the non sociopathic normal 80% of people usually want to do.

USA

very rich

rents and mortgages are overpriced. The inevitable downfall will happen. Current housing market is in a bubble about to burst. Transfer of generational wealth and decrease of migration will happen after homes are built with newspaper and cardboard instead of bricks and mortar by African migrants instead of white tradesmen

Who gives a shit about post silent gen systems? It' all getting dismantled anyway and I'll pay good money to see Ramsey hang from a lamppost.

brand new truck or car that costs $500 - $700/mo.

I only know one person paying $400/mo for a truck. Even then, I don't think it's a new truck, I think they were just taught car loans are normal and how you pay for cars, so they got roped into something that's breaking them.
I'm an upstanding citizen with a DUI on my record, so I couldn't get a car loan. Had to buy my car outright. Options in my area are basically pay $9k+ for something safe/reliable (high rust area). So I dropped an extra $2k on a 13 year old Mercedes in great condition, low miles. Get all the commentary on it as though I'm driving around some $65k luxury car. It cost me $11k, not far above the floor for something reliable around me. Basically a Subaru Forester with a comfortable interior and a six cylinder engine.
Point is, I don't think anyone has a clue how expensive each other's car actually is. People seethe over certain brands and don't recognize new cars from cars in decent condition. The buying process is also a convoluted game of financing or different people just looking harder for a car they like, etc.

No, hes the bagholder in this situation, he cant dump his bag for the "i know what i have" boomer price

I remember when I was a kid in the 90's, the majority of everyone around me was white. By the time I was late high school, it seemed like whites were a minority in my town.
Moved out for college at 18, went to a place that was culture shock for how white it is. Moved out of that town 12 years ago, but visit almost once a year and watched the place become similarly diverse to the town I grew up in. Current town was also 99% white when I moved here. The last three years, this place has turned into basically New York City.
Point is, boomers have been shipping in the third world, while being full NIMBY about building new housing, then wonders why millennials can barely afford rent.

If that's all you got out of my post there's nothing I can say to convince you otherwise. You're full of hatred and nothing rational someone says can change that.

hatred

goes on a tirade about how depressed single/divorced millennials in studio apartments are spoiled because they have a car they use to get to work

Tik tok boomie, soon we're gonna kill all of you.

I'm not angry

I want to go on a killing spree of strangers

Lmao

You are trying to be rational with some faggot who blames all zoomers/millennials for 'being lazy' while whining people rightly point out boomers devalued the dollar to pump up their assets (real estate). There's no point in discussing because "blame yourself and pull yourself up" doesn't work in an economy where the market forces are infinitely greater than you and controlled by malicious old fucks. What he means is you need to pay for the overpriced house and stop whining, because his retirement depends on it. Why is a boomer on Anon Babble? No one knows.

I'll say it again for the boomers lurking: TOTAL
BOOMER
DEATH

Fuck you and your generation, hippie. Your parents are no longer around to bail you out, and your kids benefit from you being dead.

I see the schizos are out in full force today...

What are you talking about? He gave a pretty even-handed response.

t. millennial who lives with his parents still and doesn't have severe mental illness

I have made 2000 dollars in the last 30 days selling old junk on ebay. and thats just a side gig. I would rather die than work for anybody ever again

real estate boomer wants more people to pay rent and stay poor

Go figure
This gigantic self-important faggot literally nepotismed his own kids into comfy 6 fig salaries and probably gives them bonuses worth a normal persons wage every Christmas. Which is totally fine mind you, but extremely hypocritical when he then says stuff like this

It’s not even good financial advice. He just wants more poor people who can barely afford life to pay rent to his various buildings

dude just work 50 hours a week so you can live in a crumbling smelly apartment and commute 60 minutes to work while eating poison food and paying 40% taxes

It's just not worth it

not buying your house for half a mil, boomer. nice try.

i dont understand how someone hasnt thrown acid in this guy's face yet.

It's just irrational anger and blaming a whole generation is retarded. Ya, the top 20% of Boomers are doing great, but the bottom 80% aren't.

BTW, when all of the Boomers are dead, it'll be the same story. The top 20% of Millenials will be balling and the bottom 80% will be struggling, or just getting by. Meanwhile, generation Alpha and generation Beta will be blaming us for everything and saying we never had it so easy.

These angry people are just mentally handicapped. They sound like every typical left-wing redditor.

disregard everything boomers say about the current economy, they live in the past, i have had a boomer say to me, in the same breath:

kids these days can't afford things because they don't work

when i was 18 i bought my first house

how are they this ignorant.
