Previous Thread:

You can make money on numismatics, just like you can make money selling frog rounds or mining stocks but the silver scammers never suggest you do those things, in fact they say you shouldn't do them. why is that?

Because the goal of the silver scambots and the demons who hire them is to ruin your life , make you broke, scared and hiding in mommy's basement praying for the world to collapse. And that's exactly what will happen if you buy fake physical silver, be it rounds, bars or junk.

Aaaaaand Filtered

putting on gold eagle pendant

87 coin with shiny front face

drop it on more of my gold on accident

not sure if the two small hairline scratches i can only see in some lighting were there already or not

wig out

it's over
it's an heirloom that was already in surprisingly nice condition with a very gentle patina from being worn as a pendant on a 24k bar chain

I'm aping

Kektopt remember when stacktards fell for the "buy silver day" and the next day it lost 7%

Holla holla get dolla

All these generals are bots and 99% of comments are bots, you aren't part of a special group, it's only used to target and scam new idiots who think they are speaking to 20-30 unique people ITT when reality it's maybe 3 tops.

tkd

delet is our jeet canary in the coalmine. As long as he's here then it means we're on the right track. No one would shit up a thread so consistently otherwise. He gets filtered on sight of course but it's reassuring that he's still seetheposting 24/7 to confirm we're over the target.

Total goblin death

Kektop! You did the meme

What happened to goblinlustanon? I always enjoyed his posts.

Why the fuck is silver up 5% suddenly.
I’ve had an order sitting in my cart a few days and now THIS

AAHHHHHHHH

The system is unironically breaking down as we speak.

If you get one with your winnings then I’ll get one too and we can be street race bros.

I'm definitely going to see if I can find an open order spot but I'm not counting on it. They brought the duckbill back!!!

Anyone who bought when I posted this is already up ~1% ($1000 per BTC).

wow a whole 1%

calling obvious cleaning hairlines is a new one for me

He talks a LOT, but didn't say much, except that he doesn't understand the language.
So what's the gist? "It's coming straight at silver"... to do what?

I’m growing tired of the clickbait videos in the metals space. Just show us the comex inventories and deliveries or shut up.

He is one of the bad shops there. No not buy raw coins from Superb German Coins.

Shit like this is probably gonna get worse as the price continues to rise.

What do you guys think with states starting to allow gold and silver as legal tender?

Fine. Helps increase the value of the stuff.

That's it? No fanfare?

I mean, as legal tender do they mean an American Eagle is still just worth a dollar?

no they literally going to allow silver and gold payments

With the value placed at what? Spot?

I believe so. thats all the news says about it. maybe you can help me in seeing if thats confirmed or not. you guys are far more informative than I

I just don't see how it could work unless they're planning on making it like a paper/digital silver/gold thing.

what do i think

state laws regarding the use of precious metals as an open alternative to fiat likely won't affect anyone in any meaningful way. people in states that 'legalized' precious metals as an alternative to fiat could already trade goods and services for gold, silver, bottles of vodka, or whatever else to which both parties agreed.
I'm all for precious metals as a means of holding wealth outside of direct governmental control, inflation, etc., but I don't believe these laws are anything more than politics.

It's important if a big enough state adopts it.

Would this mean stores would need like scales and shit? It just doesn't seem practical to me I guess. I could see counterfeit being even more of an issue too.

Would this mean stores would need like scales and shit? It just doesn't seem practical to me I guess.

They already use this at pm shops and it's relatively quick. And what's one minute to assess coin versus several days to settle some credit payment.

That's it?

Pretty much. It means those governments now recognize Au & Ag as a way to make payments. This saves stackers the hassle of exchanging for fiat, then paying. It means fewer middlemen, less loss to processing fees. This makes the metals more useful, therefore a viable option, therefore increase in demand, therefore higher value.

No fanfare?

Here you go... pic related. What more do you want?

But I mean some cashier at a grocery store getting one of us spergs like once a month paying with PMs could slow up the line. I'm just talking about being practical. Definitely like if you want to drop some gold coins on a car or house sale that makes sense but buying some apples and paying in mercs and then needing to look up the value just seems inconvenient. Or what if I want to buy apples with say a Somali Elephant from 2022 which are worth more than 2025 Elephants

So much for the June 2nd cutt off date. They're still up.

But I mean some cashier at a grocery store getting one of us spergs like once a month paying with PMs could slow up the line.

There's literally machines that can authenticate coins. And if it's manual, under pm, now stores can afford to pay multiple people to operate the cashier. You can easily scale this horizontally.

What do you guys think with states starting to allow gold and silver as legal tender?

Let me know when that happens

Yes

identifying PMs isn't that hard dude. medieval peasants could do it.

In 2 1/2 hours? That's not bad.

Compare to where someone is paying at least $51 for a chunk of metal that's only worth about $34 right now. The price has to go up 50% to a new all-time high (which hasn't been hit since 2011) just to break even.

Using chips is not unprecedented. One of our early and great contributors (PanMan) noted that in especially in mining towns/communities, flakes of gold are exchanged.
This ruling doesn't obligate stores to accept PMs as payment. It means the option is available and seen as legitimate in law.
It also implies gov'ts recognize that accepting/holding PMs is a winning proposition - that it will gain value over fiat when stored. It may not be much of a gain for individuals, but in large quantities it would be significant. If you have the fiat to make payments, don't opt to pay in PMs.

I wouldn't want to scrape my shinies to buy groceries, let alone sell my shinies in general. That's just kinda all I'm saying.

Because of premiums no one on pmg has made a profit

there are only 2k of the silver sparkle beanie babies and beanie babies always go up according to the manufacturer

VATboy.jpg - 800x179, 44.98K

the person that needs to squeeze every dollar they have into the riskiest investments to try and get a bigger return is certainly the successful person in this thread. i'm sure glad that i don't have to do that.

because of premiums

Nigga, I love the premiums because I started buying years ago. I'd make at least like a 60% profit if I sold right now. It's the newfags who are getting fucked but maybe in a couple years they'll see it the way I currently do and see a profit even after buying at these prices.

And no-one says you or anyone has to.

Lmao, the only thing stacktards love to do more than losing money is bragging they lose money. In 10 years of pmg none of them has made a profit
