I clicked a scam link on twitter like an idiot about a website that shows "how much you paperhanded X crypto by selling early". And then it asked to connect wallet and i actually also clicked that and then it gave me options to choose a wallet and that was it I didnt choose a wallet nor connect but just by clicking on that website can that scammer drain my wallets on my phone now? How fucked is it guys? if i lose everying im gonna legit hang myself please anyone in the know tell me what to do? I cleaned cookies on browser, can he install keylogger on my phone just by visiting the website alone or a virus or something?

If you aren't sure just make a new wallet with a new seed phrase and transfer your funds. I think you are safe but it's good to make a new wallet just in case. Make sure you keep your seed phrase in a safe place of course.

And no if you didn't actually connect your wallet to the website your funds aren't at risk. You should get a hardware wallet like a Keystone so you don't accidentally get drained

Once I clicked a link a connected my wallet and tried to sign a transaction on a scam site. My ledger saved my ass by not letting me sign the transaction. I would have lost $100k. It was fucking terrifying and made me realize how easy it can be to fuck up if you’re not careful. And I’m someone who is normally careful and wouldn’t fall for this, but I did. It only takes one time to get totally fucked. I still made new wallets and moved my shit.

Obviously it’s all automatic, usually it’s just a drainer that you sign and it just takes all of your funds. Transferring to a new wallet does nothing like you said because either it already took everything or you didn’t sign anything and It can’t.
