"CBDCs will likely need to replace stablecoins as the primary form of digital currency underpinning tokenized transactions".
This is what I've been saying.
When wholesale CBDCs are here, you can say bye bye to most stablecoins.
On the unified ledger point, they also say "or at least a highly interoperable set of integrated ledgers that work together seamlessly".

extremely bullish for hedera

“Sex” is the new bump. If anyone wants to bump this thread say sex instead of bump. Bump is outdated.

Feels good holding XRP

On the unified ledger point, they also say "or at least a highly interoperable set of integrated ledgers that work together seamlessly".

Correct, so is there a platform that can provide all this in one seamless integration?

Youre both retarded.

I think Wormhole is a pretty good interop solution, considering Blackrock is using them.

Is this your unbaised opinion? So not the guys working with Swift, DTCC, Euroclear and Clearstream? Instead theyll choose the guys who lost 320m in a hack?

Instead theyll choose the guys who lost 320m in a hack?

That means they are battle-tested, chud. Try to keep up.

When wholesale CBDCs are here, you can say bye bye to most stablecoins

So if I have 1 million USDC on an exchange or cold wallet, what happens to it? Does it disappear over night or start spiraling down to 0?

Probably nothing will happen to those unless the issuer goes bankrupt.
What I meant was that stablecoin usage will drop like a rock.
Why would banks use stablecoins when CBDCs are here?
For CBDCs you just have to trust the CB.
For stables you have to trust the CB + the issuer.

Somehow, this will mean that the middle class loses again.

I am getting sleepy. Anyone else? We should all take a nap.
I am so excited for you crazy kids.

The hack is old news. A lot of the more prominent cryptos right now have endured some contentious events, including ETH and SOL. Everyone was super hyping the impact of Securitize and how important it would be in the broader financial sphere when they were thinking LINK was a sure bet. Ever since Securitize/Blackrock chose Wormhole though, that narrative quickly changed. I think LINK will be extremely successful, I hold a decent amount myself, but writing off Wormhole is idiotic. Wormhole is severely undervalued right now. Think of it like the dynamics between XRP and XLM, very similar yet can co-exist and are both primed for success. Wormhole is an easy 10x this cycle, if not more. I wouldn't be surprised at all if it storms into the top 25 at some point and hits $5+

That means they are battle-tested

yeh and they failed the battle-test in grand style

To be battle-tested means to be reliable, like an engine in a plane. If the engine failed every now and then its not battletested, its shit.

it depends can some jeet or huehuehue just use a jpm dollar stable
right now they serve a giant purpose in saving third world people from the theft of their governments

The hack is old news.

Cope. Imagine losing 320 million dollar then to say to stop bringing it up because it only happened 2 years ago.

replace stablecoins

they're just going to adopt them instead
admin keys are already in

Wormhole is a pretty good interop

already lost to celestia

frankly, no one believes you and i'd say it's very likely you're linked to the project or just a link fuddy. i'm willing to bet Blackrock will end up using Chainlink. It's inevitable. It's the clear standard, and has never once failed, in any of its product offerings.

WTF
WAGMI

You trust the system being used by the Jewish Mafia guys that haven't increased their holdings in four years and have likely lost hundreds of billions of dollars in investors funds?

We live and learn from our mistakes. Wormhole is battle-tested, and has way more usage than Chainlink, chud. In time, even Swift and the DTCC will bend the knee.
You sound pretty anti semitic. Do you think the guys running Swift would appreciate that kind of attitude? Think, anon. Who controls the banks? Who will they give control over the casttle, to other tribe members or to some random russian.

This, I think USDC has been vying to basically be the supplier/admin of US gov CBDC for their entire existence. The gov can't just release their own stablecoin, they're too retarded. They will hire a third party service to do it, and that will be Circle.

Interesting theory. Still, this only works out for Circle, all other stablecoin issuers will get rekt.

As always

This is why decentralized stables like DAI will still have a future

Definitely Quant.

If it allows them to roll out digital ID and assets, they're going to go with the Russian.

Trump's kids are linkies. Sergey will be meeting in the White House 2025 Mark my words

sorry, my comment was meant for the other guy who was shilling dogshit

I'm just trolling a bit, anyone with a brain knows Wormhole is shit kek.

Nice one op

been awhile since we had some good bread crumbs. etf + this

And did you goys see the APY they’re paying on that new tracked, traced and seizable stablecoin? I can’t wait to put every last piece of physical cash into that

K

WHEN is the key word here
First stables, then cdbdcs.
I know you are the linkie who screams everytime a stable is mentioned.

Its the same with the interopability screeching. First lets get all the assets tokenized on different chains before you coom that interopability is needed to connect them all.

Kind of like the electrical cars without charging stations kek.
I hold link btw

And I know you are king fidget. Sorry, don't take this in a bad way, but it really is looking like stablecoins will not needed, sorry for Ripple's efforts on the stablecoin front (now that XRP as a bridge currency has failed), but that's not gonna cut it when wholesale CDBCs are out. Also, you may want to take a look at picrel, and look up who tom zschach is and what's his role at Swift.

King fidget reporting in.
Sorry to pop your bubble. Stablecoins will be playing a major role the upcoming year(s). This is why there are major regulations coming in the context of stablecoins.
