Yeah this. I've been a fan of Sam since he was making cell phone videos of him harassing his mom, but I mostly agree with you. The way some people act like he has all the answers is ridiculous. I think it happened naturally though. Just a bunch of people out there without enough real connections, and want to give Sam money to ask him all kinds of random shit. He set out to make good content and make money, sometimes in a morally grey sort of way or maybe worse, but his conscious wins out at times when the broken and beaten masses gather around him.
