This nigger has a point! Mostly africans / mexicans delivering where i live. When i do eat out, i go and pick it up, i'm generally early as i want it as hot as possible and these peoples manners are horrible. My favorite locally owned spot even made a sign for them to wait outside because it was affecting the customers experience inside the store. Got some nigerian push past everyone and scream while shoving a phone in the guys face because he doesn't know english. then proceeds to wait in front of everyone and pout because he wanted it right away.

Uber did this with Taxis here. I used to be able to wave down a taxi and get an older italian dude or white guy who would help me load my luggage and open the door for me. Now its some pajeet who refuses to leave his seat, can't pullover correctly and smells horrible or some spick who uses too many cheap air fresheners and makes my head hurt. I miss the good ole days where the car was vaccumed clean and smelled like cleaning solution.

It needs to go back to drivers for specific restaurants (or maybe a consortium of restaurants), so that there's always someone to look bad drivers in the eye and fire them, and always someone to track problem customers and cut them off.
And if you're outside the delivery zone, you'd actually have to pay for the service upfront, not do this low-tip-desperate-driver roulette.
What we have now is just a balm so that people don't realize how poor they really are via not being able to afford cheap eats across American Distances. It only really works in urbanized areas where delivery can be done with scooters (which is why it was always only really a thing in places like NYC and SF before 2010).
