How much do you spend on food?
How much do you spend on food?
Zero.
Mom's dinners are my OMAD.
Around $80-100/month.
I pretend to be homeless and just get free food from churches. Haven't paid for food in 3 years.
I buy beef in bulk for around $4/pound and literally eat groud beef and rice day in day out so not much
i only get fast food once or twice a week and it still costs more than all my other meals combined, absolutely insane
combined about $550 a month including drinking out, and every snack or outing
Probably like $150/month on groceries, but it's definitely closer to $225 if we count eating out. I know it's sub-optimal especially with shit being so overpriced right now, but sometimes I just want pizza to show up at my doorstep.
fast food
drinking out
snacks
outing
every calorie that i could have just got at the grocery store in bulk counts as fast food. i should have pregamed more and not got those vodka redbulls for $15 each etc
I have a family of 5 my food bill is out of this fucking world. Probably $2k at least.
Bout fo' hunnid for myself. I just cook a lot. I eat a pound of beef or chicken a day. If it's not that then it's 7.5 oz of tuna. That's what really jacks up the cost. I don't mind though, I never really try to save on groceries.
I grow all my own food. Fresh greens, carrots, cabbage grow really easy. I just set it and forget it. Then pickle some for winter. For meat I have wild venison, boar, turkey, and rabbit running around. It’s so easy.
Based chad
literally me
except sometimes I add corn and/or broccoli
with the corn, I'll add hot sauce, with the broccoli I'll add teriyaki sauce
sometimes if im feeling very frugal, I'll get ground pork instead of beef
this is probably 80% of my diet
$15 a week. My mommy buys me snacks, I spend enough for a small breakfast and one large meal a day.
100-150€
food isnt that expensive as long as you dont buy goyslop
I've been BURDENMAXXING for a few years now so zero.
Its the complete opposite. Goyslop is no longer cheap, but non-goyslop is outrageously expensive. A liter of orange juice not riddled with glyphosate and oaxacan fecal matter will run you over $5, when a comparable product would be $2 in the EU. Beef and milk are the only things comparatively cheaper in the states, (with the milk being arguable in quality) and thats entire due to subsidies.
Right now about 5 euros a day. I'm on a really hard cut right now, about 1200 kcal/day. Mostly skim milk and protein shakes.
It's hard bros. I've got massive brain fog and my libido is totally shot. But I gotta cut now, or when thanksgiving comes and it's time for the winter bulk I'll just be fat... I'm hoping to lose 15 pounds between now and thanksgiving. Pray for me brothers.
You SERIOUSLY need to either learn to cook yourself or get your wife cooking. Casseroles are not that hard to make, EASY to make in bulk, keep for several days, and everyone can eat their fill. Chicken breast and rice is easy as hell and cheap to feed a family of five.
I steal food from work, on Sundays I can get pounds of sushi grade fish.
Remember videos of farmers dumping milk by the barrelful at the start of the pandemic? Remember?
I prefer not to know
in the EU
food in Europe tastes so much better, its wild. And I don't mean fancy restaurant food, im talking mundane store items
when I visited I wasn't sure if things tasted better just because I was enjoying being abroad, or if it actually tasted better. but im convinced their food is just far better than ours, in terms of quality of ingredients
7-8k a year. I live in Canada though so this is like $5-6k American which isn’t too bad
Me also. I thought I was the only weirdo that did ground beef and rice for my meals.
I do mix it up and have taco bowls maybe one time every week. Literally just beans, corn, salsa, sour cream, cheese, smashed up nacho chips, cilantro and ground beef.
Also if I don’t have beef. Eggs scrambled in rice for fried rice does the job.
Their cheapest stupormarket food is better than our stupormarket food, yes. Ultimately it's better in the 'kwa but only because of superior opportunity and choice; if you're a bum or peasant EU life is infinitely better than the comparable american tax cattle life
About $25 a day, but I eat like a king. I have steak and eggs several times a week, I eat fresh salmon at least once a week, etc. The two things I'd prefer to spend a little extra on after all my other needs are met are higher quality food and healthcare. My two big lifestyle upgrades would be a maid to cook for me so I don't have to (women are trash in general so the odds of finding one that can cook as well as I do that isn't a professional is probably next to zero) and a concierge medicine arrangement so I can just get a custom tailored preventative medical regimen in place. I could probably actually afford this now really, but I haven't pulled the trigger on either idea.
They especially poison the food they give to homeless people because they are a scourge of society.
About 5k/year
The stuff I buy is usually quite expensive since I avoid additives and crap, but I grow some food myself to compensate.
About 400 euros a month. Single male. NL
On groceries alone - about $200-$250 in a normal month. Add another $50-$60 for supplements.
Then about double that on eating out/drinking at bars.
oh to preface this Single Male in major US city.
It's really easy to eat cheap:
grill chicken
cook rice
throw some hot sauce on it
maybe throw in a fried egg or two
boom that's 90% of your meals
I hate cooking so I just keep it as simple as possible
based
me too
~75€ for food per month.
orange juice is not healthy anyway. just stop with the slop.
essentials are incredibly cheap.
45€/month.
coupla hunnet a week I think. i don't really track it I just pay whatever it rings to.
i just gave my mom 100 dollars to make me chicken and rice everyday for as long as it lasts. then ill give her another 100 dollars.
grind some liver and mix it into your slop, your body will thank you
as much as i want
fuck you
possibly 40% of my salary, I need all that for the gym, my $ape brothers deserve someone strong to help them
About 300 to 500 euros, which is huge but I don't wanna be cheap with what will transform into my cells
