All the beer in all the stores for a 30 mile radius are not moved around on some automated conveyor belt loading a truck. It's literally five wagies walking around a giant warehouse all night long grabbing each case of beer to put on a cart for each order for every store every night.
Understaffed. Supposed to be 4x 10hr shifts/week. Was actually 4x 13-16 hour shifts because we can't leave until the job's done. 40k steps per day. All while lugging cases of beer. Would have gotten jacked, but there wasn't enough time in the day and too many calories were burned to gain weight, so I just got awkwardly skinny with nice delts. Oh, it was also night shift. I saw very little sunlight that summer. Money was okay for walk-on retard job ($21/hr, OT after the 10th hour of each shift, would bring home 1100-1300/wk). Physically unhealthy and borderline torturous.

If that doesn't sound mind-numbing enough, they timed every keystroke of the job and hassled people over too many bathroom breaks for getting out of their chairs or not typing for a minute. They also lied about pay to get us in the door, then casually mentioned it was a buck less an hour on day five or six of the job.

Honestly, not the worst actual job.. Little boring and mind numbing, but not as strenuous as the beer distributor job, not as monotonous as data entry.
What made it bad was there was effectively no human manager. The "managers" seemed to have zero control over anything, They just follow orders off an app for the day and have no control or say in anything. 2/3 of the employees rode in on the bus. Sunday shifts start 15 minutes before the first bus arrives. Meaning every week you worked there, every single employee got marked as late with Amazon.

Quit after a month. Only took the job because a previous employer went and recommended me to them so I figured why not give it a shot.
Standard kitchen, but the place was gross. Only service industry job I've had where I wouldn't eat the food there. There was a shitty microwave at crotch level running almost the entire shift blasting my balls with whatever microwaves do that you're not supposed to stand in front of them.. I didn't say anything, but this was honestly the main reason I decided to quit. That and old ladies with BPD hissing and growling at me. I came very close to publicly blowing up at one of them multiple times. If I stuck around I probably would have at some point.

I did one graveyard shift for whole foods bakery and quit immediately. They kept me around by letting me work regular hours but a month later I quit on no notice because it's a subsidiary of Amazon and is run as such.

was constantly harrassed for not getting phone numbers from people, they only give their number for the pharmacy to ship drugs, but they'd take it out on you if you were male and in retail, the managers jus hide in the back or their office, or the make up aisle so they don't have to get numbers
constantly harrassed to return to the register in the middle of a job because people didn't want to self check out or wait in line

night shift in a big warehouse, that was shipping fucking tires that night. Very understaffed. No breaks. Loud as fuck. Co-workers are poor ass illegals with broken limbs in casts, but they must feed their families or die, so that's understandable. I did one night, and at end of the shift, the decision was clear: never ever fucking again. Not even for 5 more minutes. It was NOT amazon btw. Jobs like delivery driver are amazing after shit like the night shift warehouse.

I think Paris is worth a visit but Gare du Nord is hands down the sketchiest place I found myself in over there. Fortunately this isn't really near any tourist stuff it's just a big train station that connects to the airport and other parts of France. The RER train from CDG stops there and people with luggage are magnets for pickpockets. It's probably better to just take a cab from the airport to the hotel.
