80% of undergraduate degrees are "earned" by women and browns who "study" (see: party for four years and cheat) topics you don't need a degree for, like art history, communications, or general "business."
Then about 15% are faggots/browns presumably like you, who, again, "study" (see: party for 6-8 years and cheat) for their master's/doctorate's in more applicable fields like medicine. Then about 5% are actual, hardworking types who put in the effort and care about the subject, and don't complain about the loan because they were smart enough and diligent enough to pay it back timely, working through college, saving up, realizing you don't need to live on campus for an extra $15k+/year, and making an effort to finish paying once they have a full time job.

honestly federal student loans should undergo some sort of underwriting procedure that requires the creditor to assess the probability of repayment based on the school, the degree, the quality of instruction, and likely job outcomes. of course this would require the government to reconcile their "claims" of an amazing job market with reality -- and so none of this will ever happen.

This argument holds no water. I agree the working class also deserves a handout. But the working class will never get a handout if they are stubbornly opposing a handout for other working class people.

College educated workers make almost a million dollars more in their lifetime than non college educated workers which means they are the ones paying the most taxes. There are middle class blue collar workers as well but they statistically make less money on average than a degree holder. Even blue collar degree holders like architects or master electricians will make significantly more money than someone who is a lineman or a carpenter.

People like you have a point and aren't just farting in the room, but it is a little more complicated. Most colleges shouldn't exist and most people shouldn't go, and college should be subsidized bc it is a benefit for some smart people to go and focus on their studies not money. If you are poor and you manage to get into a good school, they have big enough endowments to offer you full need financial aid. All college should be cheaper and cost based on income, student's GPA, and usefulness. The stupid degrees should cost more money. But none of it should cost very much. The school can easily be trailers or over the internet because you don't need big water fountains and ironically shitty dorm rooms to learn, in fact moving to new places helps you learn. You could do a history class in the woods. The professors should be paid well of course.
