First for LAAC

female natural gas bros, today is OUR day

jxn

jxn.png - 537x286, 19.13K

Even my ID says fuckin FLEE.
It's over in March.

Bob Iger dumps 80% of his shares

Ok seriously what the fuck is going on with these rich assholes selling so much lately?

They're selling because soon you won't be around to consume as you're off to war

Shares in what?

Disney is going to zero because its woke and I hate niggers

What are your opinion on natgas RN ?

it's a good idea to take profits when the market has been pumping like a fat nigger for 6 months and it looks like we're slowing down

going to zero because inflation is cooling and soon no one will be working because of Jerome Powell's racist, sexist, nazi rate hikes

Looking like nat gas could rebound to $2.00 within 3 weeks. Beyond that it hard to tell; price has collapsed for such an extended period since sept 2022.

BRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAP

most of these dudes are old as can be and about to retire imo. bezos and musk both have pet projects they need the money for.

My guess:
Inflation will be bad today.
We dump
Unlike last CPI reports this time we won't repump just one day later, but go back to 4900 if not 4800

Both the job market and economy in general seem to be rapidly deteriorating. I think we're finally going to crash this month.

nah they're gonna manipulate it lower

just need to spam more ai bro its free money

Bruh I have actually some of their recent stuff like Wish and Willow.

Willow had to be one of the worst tv shows I have ever fuckin seen and that's crazy since I thought the original movie was enjoyable in a campy b movie fantasy way.

Then there's Wish...did they have some fucking C team work on this shit? It did NOT feel like a movie that used a $200 million budget, let alone a movie that celebrates their 100th anniversary at all. Like its got that early PS4 cutscene vibe and it was mid as hell. Disney is in serious need of a spring cleaning bruh.

I want to short so badly but I'm scared I'll lose money. I have no particular knowledge of the markets, so if I'm thinking of shorting lots of other people are thinking the same thing.

premarket looking red af

Paramount to write off $800M in content for Q1 2024

Holy fucking shit, what movies and tv shows are gonna disappear forever?

I recently saw Encanto. Was somewhat ok, but it completely fucked the "lesson" or the "moral of the story" at the end. Also some absolute retarded shit.

HR calls me and tells me that they want every employee to spend 5% of their income on a service pension

essentially it's a tax free hedge fund/ETF/whatever

"No thanks, i'll invest the money myself."

"Anon, we REALLY want everyone to do this. It's in your own best interest"

"Fine, whatever."

Hedge fund calls me and goes through the legaleze.

1 year later

YTD my personal investing outperforms their ass by orders of magnitude

mfw they take 5% of my paycheck and cant even outperform the shit and piss 500

He is selling because of SORA. Disney is in a chokehold by actor/writer guild contracts and ip that is quickly expiring and union pensions. Giant 500million buck movies will be produced for nearly nothing in the coming years by tiny 10man studios. The market will be flooded and Disney will suffer. Even Disney parks will get fucked by vr worlds.

I could say

that's absolutely insane

but we all know it is.
so yeah, clown world

Plot Twist:
JPM is the chosen loser.

Bloody hell I'm a brainlet. I don't understand at all. Yeah, the FED loan program BTFP shuts down on March 11... and that coincides with some reduce margin requirements? What does that even mean?

mfw they take 5% of my paycheck and cant even outperform the shit and piss 500

they werent trying to beat it anon. they farmed you out for fees.

I shit you not my captcha had JPM in it.

Who's feeling $BIG today

burry.jpg - 347x145, 8.3K

Means the players who play ball get infinite strikes

Pic rel for what the implications are. Basically OCC and choose who to save by waving margin requirements. It's said the SEC pushed the review of the ruling back to April 24, 2024, so if the BTFP program ends as planned, there's basically a 43 day window of ANY bank failing.

are creatively bankrupt

have hired women

Bro it's too easy, it's terrible.

If you aren't loading up on SOXS right now you are a BIG PUSSY

Even Disney parks will get fucked by vr worlds.

Hold it right there

1bd.gif - 600x338, 2.98M

A margin requirement means that when you take a bet on the market on derivatives for example you take a position of lets say 1 million with 10% margin. So a 10k collatoral for a $100,000 position
That collatoral is a deposit, the rest is loaned and charged interest. To protect its own interest the broker would margin call you if your position turns against you, because you might be losing money but the broker doesn't want to lose his borrowed money. So he'll margin call you if your position loses and asks to deposit more collatoral to keep it open. Or else liquidate you to save his $90,000 he borrowed you.

Waiving margin requirements basically means the broker will eat the loss along with you on HIS money he borrowed to you and it's as good as free money

so basically nothing changes in current liquidity regime

kek imagine what's gonna happen to those thousands of Indian CGI/SFX workers that were bought for pennies on the dollar and get replaced by AI chads? Send that back to India?

God I want her to wrap her legs around my head and left me smell her pantyhose feet!

Thanks bros. I am gonna try to read up on it. This whole thing is really confusing. Where is the FED getting the money from? And what guarantee does the FED have that the money comes back to them? If the bank fails, that is kinda bullish since the big boys can swoop in to buy it for cheap, right?
The FED has been giving out so much free money, how the hell can banks even fail under such conditions? I know they have a lot of unrealized losses but come on. Have they really become so accustomed to decade of ZIRP so as not to manage 5% rates?

So these little shits get free money and essentially cheat the system and then they wonder why normal people aren't happy to pay their taxes. This is some nice corruption. Actually, why are they even waiving the requirements? Shouldn't that be illegal?
Alright, so this and reverse repo crap that I gotta read up on.

Btw, just finished Xenophon's Anabasis. Good content but a little dry. Anyone got some more good reading?

Where is the FED getting the money from?

My coworker was just telling me how awesome it must be to be single. Haha yeah I'm totally single by choice and not an loser virgin

Where is the FED getting the money from?

Read Mystery of Banking by Murray Rothbard. The FED doesn't create money it creates credit.

It's super bearish actually. You wouldn't do this unless you expect massive market volatility. They're handpicking who gets to survive the next crash and who doesn't.
And why would you do that unless you're expecting (or creating) something?
This is literally a financial oligarchy colluding to attain market dominance and they're going to do it by crashing it with a few chosen survivors.

Holy fucking shit.

1621388661155.gif - 232x194, 356.53K

As long as you have us, you ain't no loser. Remember that.
And yeah, being single right now is pretty good. I am essentially putting all of my time into work (massive amounts of overtime) and I'm getting fat off of the inflation. Although real wages in general have gone down, for quality work they pay more than ever.
That is indeed plausible and I hope you're correct because I am looking forward to slurping cheapies.

If any of you want to get into the BTC rally there is CORZ.

Does anyone please have at hand the graphic of the USD purchasing power since its inception that shows the declining purchsaing power of a dollar, with the years of different events, like the creation of the FED, Nixon's depegging of the USD from gold, Roosevelt's gold confiscation act, etc.?

No.

Come on, you know the one I mean. The one that the background of the graphic is a fiat dollar, and it starts full, and it gets smaller and smaller, until it's only a small sliver of what it orginally was.
I'm looking for it, but it's amidst hundreds of other images.
Someone must have their shit more organized than me.

Brother can you use a search engine? Are you an autist or intellectually stunted?

Several members of the Parliament have urged the ECB to cut rates immediately to avoid strangling the economy, with one controversially waving a noose at Christine Lagarde this week to drive the point home.

Wtf?

I only have this. Just use GOOG's amazing Google services that will point you in the right direction :)
Avoid strangling the economy. The economy experiences a small hike in rates (below the historic average) for a year and suddenly everybody is a toddler crying for its mama. This is pathetic.

Because it needs a lot more money for that. And how is the child going to secure retirement of his child? With his retirement?

You got it buddy. it's called compounding.
Gains on your gains.

That would be neat, but we are in a world where boomers have pawned off their sons, grandsons, and future great-grandsons' futures and still feel entitled to more, while telling them to eat shit.

I like asking chatgpt to fix my typpos sometimes, and sometimes he gives me his opinion instead, and even fucking chatgpt seems to agree with me on the issue of boomers

I firmly believe the bots are trading the indices and if there is no special reason trade the individual stocks en masse around.

For example, 2 hours ago Zalando was +2% and DAX pumped high. Now DAX pumped up again but Zalando is +0,4%
Other companies that were red are less red, other companies that were less red are now more red. In the end the DAX moves as the global markets at the same time, sometimes stronger or less but it does those predictable moves (like when the hour turns) but the performance of the individual constituents has changed from early pump to the later pump. Bullshit is being traded around like crazy but the index goes how it is intended, like the CAC/OMX etc (global market retardation)

Essentially like this:
youtu.be/lr7pyggTmmY?feature=shared&t=145

stocks are bad for my health

image-10.png - 294x620, 38.78K

You would obviously take care of your own retirement first. I think kids would be better off in the long run if parents concentrated on their children’s retirement and not college. College is mostly a rip off these days anyway. Even if you could only fund half or a third it’s still a good start.

Picrel is not really an agreement. That's a very open statement. Every generation naturally faces different challenges and inequalities, because of war, technological advancement, medical advancement etc.
Did you ask it directly about boomers?

BROS I CANT STOP WINNING IN JOE BIDENS ECONOMY. FAT ASS RAISE COMING IN JUNE TOO

In fact, 55% of its market cap has been traded today, an airline stock is now being traded like a shitcoin, gotta respect the ones that earned on that pump

Bull flag on the daily bobo.

If everyone was taught in school how to manage a budget and invest in a company things would be much better.

They don't do this for obvious reasons.

You ever seen a bart simpson chart?

Or the classic normie retards blaming corporate "greedflation" on rising prices when they should be blaming their government for handing out trillions in helicopter money stimmy checks.

Normies really are cattle

Yeah but we're in hell not reality sar.

It is better for corporations that the masses are hopelessly ignorant.
Do you think someone that understands the time value of money will finance a brand new mustang at 20% APR?

Normies

*GOYIM

If you believe the government would fudge numbers to prop up the economy why would you buy puts? Seems kinda stupid to me.

We all know. Maybe that is why it will dump.

greedflation

You mean the Putin Price Hike chud

I thought it was Putin's price hike?

I'll buy one ludicrous call just for you

Yeah basically this is why on a fundamental level redistribution can never work. Any redistributed money would just consoomed away and end right back in the hands of the savers/investors.

I think you can split left and right fundamentally into consooomers and savers

Can you believe the same republicans that blame the other party on inflation also tried to ban cattle imports from South America? You know, the ones that were in power when the PPP loans and UBI payouts dropped money on anyone with a social security number. It's all just an intellectualization of ulterior self-interests. The only ideal political outcome is less taxes and less regulation.

Lets just ignore the war on fossil fuels, Chips act and the Tax and Spend Act really pouring gasoline on that inflation fire.

What does this have to do with the nigger unemployment rate?

U fucking srs m8? How does everyone just forget about companies literally laughing on earnings calls about raising prices as high as they possibly can? What the fuck else do you call that? Lmao

I think we know who wins the war on fossil fuels.
SPOILER
It's fossil fuels.
Why? Because fossil fuels are just

nah that anon is right, "greedflation" is bullshit because it implies when corporations are greedy, inflation happens
corps are ALWAYS greedy, that's the point - it doesn't scale with inflation

do all corporations simultaneously conspire to get greedy at once and decide to just cause more inflation?
do they think deflation happens because all corps just become generous one day?
of course not
broad market, long-term inflation happens ONLY because of fed ZIRP/money printer actions and the loaning + gov spending it enables
and it's shit because it distorts markets and price expectations, preventing people from making informed financial decisions
mises.jpg

Both can happen simultaneously, they aren't mutually exclusive

well I joined team ludicrous mumu for a while. Lets see

Can somebody explain why crypto miner stocks are not performing inline with the BTC surge during this bull run? They seem unaffected/inverse affected

many such cases

7% percent up and the day is just starting

Another BIG days

BIGGERS.jpg - 316x231, 12.39K

Ya it's fucked, I thought that's enough exposure to crypto. Fucking piece of shit Bitfarms, guess I have to sell and buy bitcorn. $80k worth

Markets are becoming less and less competitive lately. Looking very much like late 19th century. Lots of rent-seeking going on these days. Really need new antitrust legislation.

I'm sure having access to crypto futures etfs has nothing to do with the lack of demand for crypto miners during this Bull Run.

biz

Probably because it's pre-halving, so a lot of miners will get in trouble in the future. The ones that stay after some will have to quit will be big winners though so I'd just hold if you have promising ones

When is Microsoft going to buy SNAP?

Yeah, that definitely explains why crypto stocks are INVERSING BTC... buffoon

it's so fujcking over

Why would they want that NIGGER shit when they already have the KINO LINKEDIN?

Their revenue is about to get cut in half lol

whats the move on DELL? Puts?

Let me make this very clear for you retards. NO ONE IS BUYING GPUS IN BULK FOR BITCOIN MINING. NO ONE. THIS IS NOT 2013 OR 2016. ITS OVER. BITCOIN HAS NO TIES TO THE PRICE OF NVDA. STOP BEING RETARDED.

We just need people to be more frugal. Plebs need to stob buying stuff wit gibs.

There's a special kind of power in those NVIDIA processors,
And they're blooming like the roses in the spring.
But I'm far away from them, chasing market aggressors,
In the realm of SOXL, where the bulls take wing.

(Chorus)
Oh, the verdant rose of NVIDIA, it beckons me afar,
In the circuits and the silicon, where tech dreams are born.
But I'm trading in the markets, where fortunes rise and fall,
In the land of SOXL, where I'll stake my dawn.

(Verse 2)
Those processors hum a tune of innovation and might,
In the heart of every machine they dwell.
But I'm riding with the bulls, chasing profits in the light,
In the world of SOXL, where we cast our spell.

(Chorus)
Oh, the verdant rose of NVIDIA, it calls me in the night,
With promises of breakthroughs, in the realm of chips.
But I'm dancing with the indices, where the numbers take flight,
In the land of SOXL, where I'll earn my flips.

(Bridge)
Though the rose may bloom in Texas, and its beauty may astound,
In the world of semiconductors, it's NVIDIA that shines.
But I'll ride with SOXL, where the markets do abound,
In the land of opportunities, where we draw the lines.

(Chorus)
Oh, the verdant rose of NVIDIA, it's a symbol of our quest,
For innovation and progress, in the tech domain.
But I'll trade with SOXL, where we put our hopes to test,
In the realm of semiconductors, where fortunes reign.

its fucking joever

correct, but the difference is that corp inflation can't last though - it only applies in the short run and would only affect the industries involved
if corps raise prices too much, demand reacts accordingly
same thing with "supply shocks" - if it was just supply shocks, prices would return back to their pre-shock values once it's over

but they never do
because the underlying cause is gov increased the money supply, so all prices eventually rebalance to reflect that

the fed "solved" short-term volatility by creating long-term sustained inflation
their own CPI admits to 4% since 1970, despite targeting 2%. reality is even worse

fair point. the insane pace of technological innovation has made it hard for law/society/culture to catch up
I would still posit an inflationary environment drives people towards that behavior though
when savers get fucked, people are pushed towards speculation and rent-seeking
if you aren't leverage-maxxing, you lose out - but that's hard to do because it's stressful as hell, turns everyone schizo

Why does PAUL SWEENEY sound so much like JAMES O'KEEFE

I heckin love goombling

DONALD DUCK MARKET

chris.png - 1024x1024, 398.96K

I dunno man, I think the greedflation portion is happening because they realized they could raise their prices and people would still pay them even if they'd grumble. Especially cause they get to blame inflation, when their prices are increasing way faster than the rate of inflation

why don't they do that all of the time then?
and why is it happening to all sectors at once?
they only do that because inflation expectations are high
which is only the case because the gov increased the money supply
